I'm 27 and never tried tea. My OH thinks this is incredibly weird?

The smell just makes me heave.

What 'normal' things have you never tried?

I'm 28 I mean! How am I forgetting my age? BlushBlush

I love tea but I honestly haven't a clue why. My first cup of tea in the mornings is just amazing.

I've never tried Marmite.

ApocalypseNowt · 03/05/2017 20:20

I've heard tea is really good for your memory. Maybe give it a go...? Wink

MunchMunch · 03/05/2017 20:20

Kebab, never tried it and don't want to try it!

TomatoTomAto · 03/05/2017 20:21

You've dodged a bullet there tiputipi. Tea is revolting and I imagine it's what Satan's piss tastes like.

WildKiwi · 03/05/2017 20:21

You don't know what you're missing Brew Grin

On the other hand, my DH thinks I'm a complete weirdo due to my hatred of bananas. The smell of them makes me heave and they're banned in our house.

oldwife · 03/05/2017 20:21

My DH has never been a tea drinker. He's 52! :)

Says he tried it once and didn't like it. I ha e a selection of fancy black teas, herbal teas but he won't even give those a bash.

DS won't try coffee.

I like both. in fact I fancy a cup of tea right now.

Asmoto · 03/05/2017 20:22

I've never tried Horlicks - I really dislike milk (I have tea and coffee black) and the thought of it makes me feel a bit ill.

TomatoTomAto · 03/05/2017 20:23

I just thought of someone I've never tried. Fried bread.

TwentyCups · 03/05/2017 20:23

Do you drink any hot drinks? I love a hot drink but not everyone likes them.

The only 'normal' things I've never really had are most meat products due to going vegetarian as a very small child.

I've never had a gin and tonic which must put me in a minority here!

tiputipi · 03/05/2017 20:25

Apocalypse, I think you may have a point! Grin

Tomato, I feel much better knowing this.

Marmite with cheese is SO good!

Maybe we should all resolve to try the things we haven't tried, then report back with what we thought about them!

BitchfaceBarclay · 03/05/2017 20:25

Good lord Shock.

Popskipiekin · 03/05/2017 20:25

The smell of milk makes me heave so milky tea/coffee ditto. If that's what I thought tea was always like I would never have tried it. Fortunately my parents are as weird as I am and drink it black. Love my black tea.

I don't know how "normal" (!) this is exactly but I've never tried an oyster despite being offered several times. Just ugh. Also never tried a kebab. Never taken drugs.

tiputipi · 03/05/2017 20:26

Twenty - I drink coffee sometimes and I like hot chocolate. Especially the wispa one. Yummm.. may have to make one now

I didn't like tea until I met my now in laws. The first time I met them I was offered a cup of tea (no other drinks offered) so I accepted. The next time it was assumed I liked/drank tea and was given it. 12 years later I now drink a lot of tea and enjoy it!

notanevilstepmother · 03/05/2017 20:26

Mmmmm tea Brew

BellMcEnd · 03/05/2017 20:27

Oooooo, I love tea. I need 2 strong cups of Yorkshire in the morning before I'm unhomicidal (is this a word?)

I will never ever try cottage cheese.

YellowLambBanana · 03/05/2017 20:27

Cream eggs... I'm 38 ! Always think they look like raw eggs and can't bring myself to try them...

LadyPeterWimsey · 03/05/2017 20:27

I had my first cup of tea this year, in my forties, out of politeness.

It was vile. I have missed out on nothing.

FrenchMartiniTime · 03/05/2017 20:27

YABVVVU Wink

tiputipi · 03/05/2017 20:28

Potato - I can't do it. My brother tried to make me drink tea once and I almost vomited from the smell. I just can't do it!

Oysters and drugs - not done those either but this may be a good thing.

I'm in my 40s and have never had a cup of tea or coffee in my life either! Can't stand the smell. Plus they're hot. That weirds me out for some reason.

ColourfulOrangex · 03/05/2017 20:29

I don't drink tea or coffee but I love the smell of coffee...I also can only drink hot chocolate if it's really cold weather and it has to be made a certain way and a few certain brands will do Blush

PuppyMonkey · 03/05/2017 20:29

YABVU.

Mind you I've only ever managed the odd sip of coffee, pah pah. Horrid.
