Inspired by the other perfume thread, it got me thinking about what I used to wear as a teenager. I will forever miss Tramp, Moon Drops and anything by Yardley!

What are your favourite scents from years gone by?

Wings, I was doused in the stuff.

MargeryFenworthy · 11/10/2016 21:18

Used to love Spellbound!

dontpokethebear · 11/10/2016 21:19

What was the name/make of the perfume in the shape of a champagne cork?

anniroc · 11/10/2016 21:20

Rive Gauche. Was very touched when my bff bought it for my 40th!

Crinkle77 · 11/10/2016 21:20

Mine was and still is Samsara by Guerlain.

BowieFan · 11/10/2016 21:21

I loved 80s perfumes. It seemed like the aim for all of them was that they could still be smelled two days after you'd left the area.

Givenchy - Fluer de Interdit was the perfume of my teenage years. Sadly discontinued. I have a vintage bottle but it's sadly turned slightly and doesn't smell as good.

abbsismyhero · 11/10/2016 21:21

I think mine was called style? They sold it in Superdrug it had a blue lid and was umm potent

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 11/10/2016 21:22

Poison.

I still have some, I think.

I had a bottle of Vivienne Westwood Libertine for my 21st. By the time I'd finished it, it had been discontinued. I've never found anything like it.

CK one, Aqua di gio, Ralph Lauren Romance all have lots of very happy memories

Eminybob · 11/10/2016 21:24

I loved Charlie Red in my teens. I saw a huge bottle in TJ Hughes a few years back which I bought out of nostalgia but it's still sat there, full, as it just didn't do it for me any more.

BowieFan · 11/10/2016 21:24

Which was the one that Dr Quinn Medicine Woman used to advertise? I remember my mum buying it and me always nicking it. It might have been made by Max Factor. I was only about 10 at the time!

Fcuk in the red bottle. I miss that.

Helpisathand13 · 11/10/2016 21:26

In the 80's Anais Anais and I thought it was ultra chic and very sophisticated

BowieFan · 11/10/2016 21:26

Eminybob

I remember giving my first boyfriend migraines when I wore Charlie Red! It was only when I started going out with DP a few years later and he got them too that I realised what the common factor was! Still wore it for years though.
