To think this kitten is BROWN!?

Ooh, my first ever AIBU, this is exciting.

Please help settle an arguement I'm currently having with DP. I know this kitten is a tabby, and therefore a bit multi-tonal, but if I would say he is definitely brown, where as DP swears he is grey!

I just don't understand how we can both be so certain!

So, which one of us is colourblind, and AIBU??

I have a red tabby, a cream tabby, a classic silver tortie tabby and a blue and white...Lots of tabby action.

I have one fluffy ball of grey/brown/black ish tabby moggy.

Not that much. The cream never tangles and the tortie is heading the same way. The red matts really quickly, he'll be fine for ages then suddenly a tiny knot will explode and become massive but he prefers to just get them clippered off so he has some funky bald patches. The white and blue is troublesome as she might as well have a coat made of cotton wool, we suspect she isn't entirely maine coon, and she has a 6th sense for scissors clippers and combs.

Ahhhhhh, very cute but I'd say he's predominantly dark grey.

Those slinky types intimidate me a bit, something quite human about them, but they are so so beautiful. One lives across the road from me and if he's in the window I stand for ages and gawp
