To think that overheating does not mean she is in anyway unhealthy or unfit. New York can be very warm this time of year and it's only early September.

So many on Twitter questioning her health and whether that makes her good enough to be president. Tbh I would choose a brain dead Clinton over trump anyday. Good she's expected to be president not an Olympic athlete.

I don't know what made her fall but suspect that is neurological. She begins to have a sort of mini seizure.

Something is wrong with her. Look at this video of her having some sort of seizure;

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/09/2016 17:58

Are you medically qualified to diagnose that Mars?

DivorceBadger · 11/09/2016 18:01

She has done just fine for 40 years, I'm not worried.

She probably hasn't slept or eaten properly for months and is beyond exhausted, it would happen to anyone but If something happens to her while she is in office the vp takes over. You are voting for the pair.

MarsBarMary · 11/09/2016 18:01

No but from the two videos it's what I suspect. I can't diagnose but we can speculate.

I don't understand why everyone gets so wrapped up in another country's election. USA is a democratic country and its of no one else's business who the people of that country decide to elect as their leader.

AnyFucker · 11/09/2016 18:03

Oh this thread is fucking horrible

MissMillament · 11/09/2016 18:04

My daughter is in NY today. She says it is blisteringly hot.

Lorelei76 · 11/09/2016 18:04

Soup - no not really, just not a fan of the royal family. Also I was volunteering, I had spend the whole day running round in prep and I was a bit taken aback.

In fairness many people that age would be in that good nick if they had been looked after as well he has.

Re Hillary, she would also have been wearing bullet proof vest etc - what is that new name they use now for security wear? - but she will have had that on.

Some of you know will I lost loved ones on 9/11 and the security for the private memorials is huge, so there is no way, even if she doesn't wear bullet proof gear at other things, I'm willing to bet muchos savings that she will have worn it there - and it's freaking hot and humid already. So it could just be a fainting spell from heat and I certainly wouldn't think less of anyone for that.

DivorceBadger · 11/09/2016 18:05

Also low 80s, so what, 27-28 c? Not 25. Pretty warm, wearing a suit.

PigletJohn · 11/09/2016 18:06

we need to remember that the pro-Trump faction hates Hillary.

as the election draws near we should expect some propaganda stories. They may or may not be true.

ZippyNeedsFeeding · 11/09/2016 18:06

AnyFucker it's making me feel really uncomfortable now. I can't imagine how anyone is helped by picking over the potential health problems of a person we don't know, who isn't here to defend herself and who hasn't made it any of our business.

I don't really follow US politics normally, is this picking apart of medical issues/non-issues normal or just reserved for women?

AnyFucker · 11/09/2016 18:08

Good question, zippy.

HelsinkiLights · 11/09/2016 18:08

Well our PM has type 1 diabetes so does that make her unfit to govern? No not one iota does it, (though curious/concerned how her insulin is kept tamperproof.......I worry about the most bizzarest things.)

Back to Hilary, the Donald probably had something put in her coffee Grin.

whatishistory · 11/09/2016 18:08

I don't think it looks like a seizure type fall--it looks like her legs give way and then she trips/falls down the pavement edge & people catch her.

Her only job right now is to keep Trump out of the White House. If she needs to stand down out of ill health later on, so be it. As far as I'm concerned, she just needs to hang on until November.

Wittowoo · 11/09/2016 18:09

On the video it looks like herr body jerks rather than just flops like in a faint. A seizure?

SenecaFalls · 11/09/2016 18:09

I do think it's the world's business. It has been very much my business here in the States that the UK has voted to leave the EU. For one thing, it has affected me financially and many others as well. For another, it has given the right-wingers here in the US fodder for their xenophobia and racism. Countries are much more interconnected they they have ever been, especially economically.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/09/2016 18:10

What gives anyone the right to speculate about the diagnosis of someone's health on the basis of a couple of videos? Internet rumours are, just as rude and damaging as real life rumours.

ilovesooty · 11/09/2016 18:10

Agree with AF.

A really tasteless thread.

DivorceBadger · 11/09/2016 18:11

Re Hillary, she would also have been wearing bullet proof vest etc - what is that new name they use now for security wear? - but she will have had that on.

Good point! My friend was in the police and had to wear body armour. Very hot.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 11/09/2016 18:12

This picking apart of medical issues was started by Trump as far as I can tell, because he will use any invented or perceived weakness as a weapon. He used the same tactic against the other republicans running against him.

DivorceBadger · 11/09/2016 18:12

FDR did just fine despite multiple health issues.

MarsBarMary · 11/09/2016 18:12

Yes Mrs may has diabetes but she has made that public without covering it up. I have been reading about clintons health whatever it is she needs to reveal it. If it is something that is treatable and does not effect her doing the worlds toughest job then it's fine. But what if it isn't.

OP posts:
whatishistory · 11/09/2016 18:13

I think the bit where she flops could be her tripping down the pavement. I've made the same sort of flip to the side when I've not realised there's a pavement edge in front of me & fallen down, but my mum managed to grab me and stop me falling.
