What do you like about yourself?

Following on from another thread which I found quite upsetting I thought it would be nice to say something positive about yourself.

I have really good skin and people often think I'm younger than I am. I also think I am a nice person with good morals.

I have nice handwriting.
I am a good listener and ask questions, and really listen to a person in a conversation rather than waiting to talk about myself (a trait I can't stand in others).
I can fold laundry really neatly...

I am excellent at spelling and grammar. I am very creative and practical and can make beautiful things with my hands. I can play two instruments really well. I have battled through severe mental health problems. I have massive boobs.

I earn more than the PM (by a country mile) and have an amazing job ..... Yet this morning I put my out of office on, turned off my phones and put on my swimming costume when my Grand children arrived unexpectedly, and played bubble and Nerf shooters for 2 hours. Not the first time, I expect it may get me sacked one day. Don't care, this is more important. I hope that is what makes me OK.

A few months ago I wouldn't have been able to find anything to say is thread.

I like to help.
I act on the things I care about and get things changed.
I've a really dry sense of humour.
I can catch mice and birds with my bare hands and take them to safety. bloody cats

I'm a real people person, I love talking to people from all walks of life. I'm very much a community person and I love helping people.

I'm also very body confident and believe everyone is beautiful. I know that sounds really naff but it's what I believe.

I'm funny and kind - I have joie de vivre. I'm a good mother and friend. I think I'm a great dancer so do it with gusto. I have great (leftie) handwriting. I'm intelligent (because women never say that and its true). I have unusual eyes.

I'm not a mumsy mum and my kids like me. I say what I think and I think I'm brave, funny and stupid all at the same time. I'm happy and confidently self obsessed. I like to help people and don't expect anything for it. I'm good at my job most of the time. I'm happy to not be perfect. I swear in the most effective way. I have a pot belly and good boobs. I am not scared of anything except spiders

I can say words backwards

I work really hard, have a great memory and am very polite.

People say (some of my female friends) that I am inspiring and that I empower other women.

I know how to look after people and make them feel welcome in my home.

I am an excellent driver.

I have lovely manners

I have hardly any grey hair which makes me feel young and stops me having to consider whether to dye it or not!

I make friends super fast and super easily, strangers just open up to me.
I am really good at choosing presents for people that they love.

I have great 3D spatial awareness so I can always tell how to rotate furniture to fit through gaps and find it weird that most other people can't do this as quickly and easily as I can. Men still don't listen to me about this! I can also parallel park like a demon although I notice this ability is affected by my menstrual cycle.

Dd thinks I'm the "best Mum ever".
I've created a happy home.
I write a good letter.
I'm very kind and loving to animals.
I've great hair.
I wrap presents beautifully and spend time on choosing cards for people.

After spending my twenties trying to fit in and falling miserably, I am now happy to be myself, all the time. I am told I am warm, honest and authentic. Life is much easier now.

I'm fab at fighting poor service, injustice and have pursued valuable claims through to the end on my own without a specialist company. We got paid out despite the international companies rejecting us numerous times. It was a bit of legal research and dogged determination.
In fact, I think it may actually be something I could do as a career.....

For some reason on first reading this I thought you were declaring yourself to be fab at fighting and poor service. Quite a combo that.

I like that I can draw and am a thinker.

I look younger than my age (52) as I have very good skin although I do take care of it plus it is hereditary.

I have a nice bust.

Nice eyes.

Friendly and chatty.

I've got lots of empathy. I also want people to feel good about themselves.
