What do you like about yourself?

Following on from another thread which I found quite upsetting I thought it would be nice to say something positive about yourself.

I have really good skin and people often think I'm younger than I am. I also think I am a nice person with good morals.

I can speak to anyone without fear and make friends easily

I make people laugh easily

I have a very quick mind and am good at problem solving

I love video gaming and am quite good at it, especially like beating men in game as women are still in a minority. Well not a minority in numbers but most women gamers I know will not speak and reveal their sex due to abuse and harassment.

I won an award as best nursing student when very young

I have an hourglass figure still almost 10 inches hip to waist ratio

I'm astute with money and have made quite a bit with investments over the years. Enough to buy a 3 bed house in area I live in.

I set up a food bank in my local town a few years ago.

I do like how extremely empathetic I am.
According friends and family it's my best trait?
Although sometimes I take on the world's problems and don't sleep at night. So it is both a blessing and a curse to feel things so deeply.

This is a lovely thread.

I like my face, I have good cheekbones and a nice smile, big eyes and big lips.
Nice skin.
Slim feet and hands Grin even when the rest of me isn't!
I don't let much bother me and don't get stressed about little things.
Enjoy the simple things in life.
Good listener.
Like Snow White when it comes to animals!
Good baker.
I only have a few people I am close to in life, but they seem to adore me.

I'm a good listener and I make people laugh apparently. Recently a close friend told me I make her feel safe and I felt really touched!

Physically I like my eyes, they're a pretty bluey green colour and look nice with make up!

This thread is lovely.

I am recovering from a life long eating disorder, my first day of eating properly today. I have PTSD from childhood abuse and OCD. I am determined to beat this and live a happy life.

I cannot think of anything I like about myself but it helps to see that other people have things they like about themselves.

I am very outgoing and can find something to chat about with everyone; DH says I'm the perkiest person he knows.

I love learning and am always training or on courses to be the very best I can be at my job.

I am a great Mum to my DCs. I had a shitty childhood in care and always thought I'd end up not knowing how to parent because of never having that 'mother' role model. Turns out I'm pretty good at it regardless.

I'm not confident but I'm pretty good at pretending I am.

I'm a good friend although it takes me a while to trust people. I'm stupidly loyal and grateful to the ones who stuck by me through some truly awful times.

I like my eyes and my feet and that I can grow decently long fingernails.

I also like my brain but wish I could turn it off sometimes!

I am quick-minded and good with words. I'm good at Scrabble and cryptic crosswords, pick up languages easily and can memorise large chunks of text. I'm slimmer and fitter at 44 than I was before I had my dc. I adaptable and like change.

I feel I am very empathetic (which isn't always great on MN as I always assume everyone else is as well)
I help people as much as I can and I like to make people happy

I have beautiful brown/green eyes (lots of people comment on them). I also have fantastic boobs & my bum is quite perky even after 2 kids. Grin
I'm a good listener & never ever divulge anything told to me. I'm quite funny too.

I learnt in rehab not to dislike myself. I am me, if people don't like me because of how I look that says more about them than it does me. I know things are hard to overcome. I have a thunder phobia which people laugh at but there we are that's me. Probably a phobia word for that but cba to look it up.
As far as I'm concerned I'm alive so each day is a new day with a new grey hair or something others will find fault with.
Someone may have a lovely face but a black heart.
I've overcome shovelling pills down my throat and now I'm grateful to still be here

I have a fairly useful brain and I know how to use it efficiently. I also have a decent pain threshold and I'm entertainingly ambitious*. I have a sharp sense of humour and am pretty good at making people laugh - with me, or at me, I don't mind.

*Often disastrously so Grin
