What do you like about yourself?

Following on from another thread which I found quite upsetting I thought it would be nice to say something positive about yourself.

I have really good skin and people often think I'm younger than I am. I also think I am a nice person with good morals.

I'm good looking, strong, funny, generous, a good cook, do my job well, work hard, am a great mum, nice hair, open-minded, compassionate, intelligent, kind, resilient, resourceful... And have excellent self esteem!

Not much. I am good to others

I'm really organised.
I can be really focussed.
I have lovely long dark eyelashes.
I'm empathetic and perceptive, and try my best to understand people.
Although I'm not a naturally outgoing person, I'm doing my best for my little boy's sake.
I'm a demon proofreader.
Despite having had a baby I have no stretchmarks or wrinkly skin.
People think I'm younger than I am.
I'm resilient.
I'm good in the mornings.

It's hard to write a list without all the cons, however my pros are -

Physically - nice big boobs, long legs, nice plump lips (face lol). I am a pretty good mother, wife and friend. I don't judge people and I always put myself in others shoes. I work hard and am good at my job. I think I am funny too.

for some reason I have a really toned stomach and defined abs - my sister does too so it must be genetic. But I feel quite lucky.

Really? As if being good to others was really nothing much at all!

The world would be totally transformed if everyone could just do that consistently!

Be nice. Be kind. It's that simple, and that difficult!

I have great legs.
I can run pretty fast and am ok at football (both according to a surprised 8 year old boy).
I assume the best in people.

Oh and I'm brilliant at spelling.

Juggling, I agree with your assessment! If being good to others is something you do well, you should cherish that quality in yourself.

For me, what I like about myself is also what I dislike about myself. I’m sensitive, and it sometimes has a 'freezing' effect on me – but it is at the core of my ability to empathise and to be creative too.

I think that it is often the case that our weaknesses can, paradoxically, be our strengths too if we use them in the right way.

I'm good listener.

I'm very happy always. That alone makes me very lucky.

Great cook, I know my job inside out and people will come to me for reasoned advice and information, pretty blue eyes (with a dark rim around the lighter blue iris), my hair is a pale strawberry blonde and still needs no colour on it (I'm 52) and it always looks shiny. Oh and I'm fairly funny (especially when drink is taken).

I have a huge capacity for joy and can find it in the smallest things. I'm warm and empathetic towards others. I am very socially comfortable and can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. I'm loyal and can keep a secret. Oh, and I make excellent pancakes for Sunday breakfast!

I'm hilarious (intentionally) and fun.
I have good legs and arms, and I tan well.

I am a strong, independent woman

I'm loyal, have a GSOH (aka will laugh at anything), don't mind housework, cook pretty well, have a nice bum (I'm told), have an inexhaustible fund of general knowledge which surprises others, amuses me and adds extra enjoyment to everything I see and do.

I ALWAYS choose the stickiest, gooey-est, most delicious cakes in cake shops and bakeries. I never ever pick a duff dry, boring one. Ever. Its a special talent that makes other green with envy. I'm very proud

I think my face is nice (symmetrical features, good skin) and I have good legs, elegant shoulders and great boobs (the less said about my wobbly tum, the better)

I like that I can make people laugh, and am good at getting a party started.

I'm a good dancer, and have fantastically neat handwriting - honestly, people always comment on it.

I'm 100% loyal...if you're my friend, I will move Heaven & Earth to help you, and will stand by you, through thick and thin.

I have I integrity. I say what I mean, and mean what I say. I don't gossip and I don't reveal confidences.

I am loyal, resilient, non judgemental, not easily shockable and kind.

I try to conduct myself with some personal integrity, and to do the right thing.

I have good memory for music (not to play, alas, but can recognise a song in a few notes)

I love my wrists - they have pretty bones sticking out of them

And now I should practice my 'concentrating on work rather than MN' routine... S'pose that's another thing I'm champion at: procrastinating.

I can't think of anything going through a horrible time and have no one around for support. How do I find something I like?

I got my job because i seem 'not easily fased' I am pretty thoughtful.
