What do you like about yourself?

Following on from another thread which I found quite upsetting I thought it would be nice to say something positive about yourself.

I have really good skin and people often think I'm younger than I am. I also think I am a nice person with good morals.

Tough one!
I keep going through severe pain and tiredness no matter what I won't give up for the sake of my kids. I hold our business and family together because I'm the only one will stand up and fight for it and put our needs ahead of everything and everyone else.

Lovely thread, but also hard read because I'm none of the cool things people listed :) Obviously in real life I'd roll eyes inwardly at self-denigrating - if only everyone knew how special they were and I'd rather be them :)

Anyway, a thing I Iike: I was always a big wimp about pain so I really appreciate my body for having handled three births easily!

I accept that I am beautiful but that that means nothing in a positive or negative sense ( this took a long time to figure out )

I beat/am beating an addiction that could have killed me.
I hit rock bottom and clawed my way back up to a life I could never have dreamed of 6 years ago.

i feel that no one treats me with disrespect. Any more.

also, although i used to be anorexic, i now think my slight chubbiness is sexy. i like that i can even think that.

I am funny and intelligent and always see the silver lining.

i like everything about myself.not in any way perfect but i am happy.

I am never malicious or manipulative - genuinely always try and do right by people (although not claiming I always get it right!)

Having thought of myself as a bit of an a-hole in my youth(I was), I've turned out ok, and having read about the behaviour of some of you MNers DP/ DH, I feel embarrassed by them. I'm turning into my dad who,IMO, was a hard working and selfless man . I won't ever be as nice as he was, but I'm not bad

I try really hard to be true to myself every day.

I am intelligent and witty (and sometimes even funny)
I have a burning moral sense of justice that I try to live by
I give a lot of time to charity
I'm a really supportive and generous friend
I am excellent to party with (despite being old)
I am a persistent, imaginative, terrible cook

And yet I would have been way more at home on the other thread!
