What do you like about yourself?

Following on from another thread which I found quite upsetting I thought it would be nice to say something positive about yourself.

I have really good skin and people often think I'm younger than I am. I also think I am a nice person with good morals.

I have a pretty high pain threshold.

SurburbanRhonda - I too take after my mother. 53 - no wrinkles!
I'm funny - my teens say I'm really not - but my friends think I am. They say I'm "good value in a social situation" - I'm happy with that!

Good thread, I also found the other thread upsetting, everyone beating themselves up. I have nice eyes, decent hair and nails, and have been told I look very young for my age.

I'm a really good friend, and am genuine and kind. Age 39, and body like a VS model after two kids.

3cats - I can relate to that, I remember a friend telling me that she put me on her 'odds and sods' table at her wedding as she knew I was good at talking to people - a sort of back handed compliment.

I seem to be good at making friends, I find it incredibly easy to talk to new people, I am useful on committees, I always offer to do the things no one else wants to .

My eyelashes are the source of much jealously. They are long and dark and thick and I don't have to wear mascara. I love them.

My wavy hair my green eyes and naturally nice shaped eyebrows, my teeth, they are all straight thanks to braces when I was younger.

I find it hard to trust people and can appear a bit distant as first but once someone shows they're worthy of my trust they pretty much have it for life

I'm finally getting confidence and aren't so soft. am going to write letter to 'friend' who bullied me and made me feel Shit through uni, to get closure. this time last year I wouldn't have even gone nc with her as I'd have been scared of her
I have lovely eyebrows and have never plucked - people are always surprised when I tell them this
Despite the shit Ton of crap life has thrown my way, I've come through the other side stronger,and am a strong woman worthy of respect

That seems a bit boastful and a lot considering I'm not that confident! I think it's only now I'm properly getting over my past and realize I am worth something - that the people who bullied Me were wrong. I'm finally starting to get that while I'm not perfect I'm not the devil incarnate and Im finally gaining a bit of self confidence, sorry for the huge list though!

I'd do almost anything to help others. I always try to put myself in others shoes and not to judge them. I have long (36" inside leg) slim legs.

I am always kind to pets and very respectful of old people... even if they are a bit horrible. I am also really good at cutting in whilst painting rooms.

I don't gossip and I'm not nosey (hate noseyness).

I am very driven. Once I put my mind to it I can focus and channel all my resources towards my goal. According to my friends I am an extremely strong person.

I have lovely sparkling blue eyes, look younger than my age, great dress sense, am perceptive and kind.

( and just got a new job after not having worked for a long time and the interviewers said I knocked the other candidates out of the water! ) 😀😀😀

A cousin once said "your hair always looks lovely, and you have fantastic taste in footwear and glasses". It made me laugh because I am well aware that I am in no way attractive and totally devoid of fashion sense.

I've always liked that I am quite bright, too.

I am kind and compassionate.

I have an amazing relationship with my children- my teenage sons talk to me about everything, things that a lot of teens wouldn't tell their mum. That might sound silly but with some of the stuff my son is going through I'm so glad he can talk to me so openly about some really intimate and private stuff.

I am very honest which leads others to open up to me.

I am very generous.

I have great lips and lovely hands.
