If I ask my neighbors not to let their 2yo dd out into the garden naked anymore?

My neighbors are lovely, but they often let their 2.5yo dd naked into the garden on a very regular basis. I have a 13 yo ds and it often embarrasses him and his friends especially when they are out playing in the garden. Do you think I should say something or just leave it? I personally am a bit paranoid about such things and I think if we can see her, who else could be intentionally looking. WIBU if I said something to them or should I leave them to it?

Ywbu if you said something. She's very little. I let my 3.5 year old play out the back naked sometimes. It will be getting colder soon anyway. Could you invest in some sort of screening for next year?

YABU. It's their own garden and she is 2 FFS. Why does seeing a naked baby embarrass your DS and his friends?

whattodowiththepoo · 04/09/2016 19:04

Yabu leave them to it.
Teach your son not to look and if you have to just get a bigger fence.

Crisscrosscranky · 04/09/2016 19:04

YABU. I don't understand why anyone would feel embarrassed about a toddler naked in their own garden in the summer.

If you were my neighbour I would tell you where to go.

Cinnamon2013 · 04/09/2016 19:04

She's two and a half years old. I can't understand why this would embarrass your son? It's their decision and none of your business.

Sirzy · 04/09/2016 19:04

If your son is embarrassed by a naked toddler then it's him with the problem not them, there again with your attitude it's no surprise he is like that!

I think it's your son with the problem here!

GeneralBobbit · 04/09/2016 19:06

Yabu

Tell your kid not to look, 2.5 is a baby.

If she's still doing it at 16, say something

eightbluebirds · 04/09/2016 19:06

Wtf! Yes YABU! It's a naked child. Why on earth is your son embarrassed? Bloody hell

Being embarrassed about a naked toddler in their own home is something one should try to get over imho.

paxillin · 04/09/2016 19:06

YWBU.

SpiritedLondon · 04/09/2016 19:06

Why is your DS embarrassed? It's a little kid....If you said something to me about my kid I'd think you were a lunatic. If you're concerned about paedophiles then rest assured they will sexualise a child who is covered from head to toe without any assistance from anyone. Relax, as long as they're not burning to a crisp it's fine.

Yabu. It's their garden and the child is just a toddler!

Mybeardeddragonjustdied2016 · 04/09/2016 19:07

I wouldn't be comfortable giving a bunch of teens a view of my naked child tbh. Maybe ask the neighbours if they realise how much you can see into their garden?
Screening your side of the fence is a good idea.

Soubriquet · 04/09/2016 19:07

It's a 2 year old child. There's nothing to see!

Tell your son to get over himself and stop watching if it bothers him that much

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/09/2016 19:07

Why is your son and friends peering over the fence? It's your neighbours private space.

AlmaMartyr · 04/09/2016 19:07

YABU. I agree completely with Pagwatch.
