I'm feeling pretty shocked and scared right now.

Why did you vote for brexit?

Seriously shariamom.

I predict the majority to have voted due to 'immigrants taking our hobs' blah blah blah

braceybracegirl · 24/06/2016 05:18

i think that's the answer then. Racism. :( i am currently altermating between crying and wanting to be sick.

MurphysChild · 24/06/2016 05:19

I agree with you idontknow

SellFridges · 24/06/2016 05:20

I'd like to know too. I feel as thought I, and all my friends, are missing something.

What will be better when we leave than it is currently?

Mirandawest · 24/06/2016 05:21

That's nice and measured ShariaMom. Although probably representative of many.

LyndaNotLinda · 24/06/2016 05:21

Well at least Sharia is being honest that she's v

branofthemist · 24/06/2016 05:21

I was a remainer. But the people who I know who voted brexit, did so because they want to be in the EU. They feel they don't like us and don't want us.

They don't feel the EU can be trusted.

They also dug their heels in when leave campaigners started the rhetoric that brexiters were racist etc.

This happened in the last election. Labour and their voters really alienated a lot of people. I think the remain side have done the same again. A lot of people were undecided and the nasty comments from so many remainers pushed the undecided away.

SellFridges · 24/06/2016 05:21

Although I did chuckle at the "immigrants taking our hobs". Do they take any kitchen appliance?

zaalitje · 24/06/2016 05:21

Say good bye to the NHS, say goodbye to equal working rights.

Can't believe we've done this Sad

Pooka · 24/06/2016 05:22

Oh... So racism. Well that makes sense. Hmm

AliceScarlett · 24/06/2016 05:22

Well at least Sharia is being honest that she's v....racist?

OP posts:
LyndaNotLinda · 24/06/2016 05:22

... Voted to leave because she's racist. So many leavers are pretending they're not

drivinmecrazy · 24/06/2016 05:22

Well you certainly have your borders back an another thrown in for good measure. Hadrons wall will be rebuilt as Scotland chosen being part of the EU over being part of a United Kingdom!

DoubleCarrick · 24/06/2016 05:22

Because obviously at midday today they are going to round up all the "foreigners" and put them on a boat "back home" Hmm

fastdaytears · 24/06/2016 05:22

Wow I really wanted this thread to cheer me up. It hasn't.

Statistically, people have voted out because they're older with no higher education qualifications. But no graphs I'm looking at have actually made me understand why.

Pooka · 24/06/2016 05:23

Arf at hobs!

LyndaNotLinda · 24/06/2016 05:23

Sorry for leaving that post hanging - cat knocked my hand!

Peachesandcream15 · 24/06/2016 05:23

I think the clue is in Shariamom's name....

AliceScarlett · 24/06/2016 05:24

Why goodbye to the NHS? Argh. I was not prepared for this.

OP posts:
MUjunkie · 24/06/2016 05:24

People have their own reasons for choosing whether to stay or go. I don't know why racism comes in to it! A difference of opinion doesn't mean someone's stupid or racist ffs!

GahBuggerit · 24/06/2016 05:24

in or out we were probably fucked, i voted out because immigration is a massive issue, my leave vote was my chance to be heard on it.

AliceScarlett · 24/06/2016 05:25

... Voted to leave because she's racist. So many leavers are pretending they're not

Wow.

Regardless of the implications of her username... Wow.

Shariamom · 24/06/2016 05:25

I'm not racist, i have no issue with non whites, but facts are facts, this country is full up, not enough jobs or houses, and I'm sick to the back teeth of immigrants getting first dibs on everything
We the British public have had enough of being second class citizens in our own country. That's why I voted leave
