To wish I lived in Gavin & Stacey?

I'm poorly so on the sofa watching Gavin & Stacey.

I love it. I wish my family and DH's family were like that. The one where they order the Indian takeaway and the Christmas one always make me think it looks so cosy!

What TV show would you 'live' in??

I didn't watch it when it was first on, I watched all 3 series back to back while sitting next to DS1's bed when he was in PICU, it sounds sad and a bit cheesy but it really got me through a very hard few days where I was otherwise totally alone.

Theres a special on netflix that shows the filming of the Xmas episode. The shipmans house isnt in Barry, Powys is springing to mind?!

I would love to be their neighbours and drop in for a Christmas drink. Both lots of families seem really hospitable. And I love a good omlette so I would be happy.

I love Gavin and Stacey. I started watching it after a few people told me I reminded them of Stacey

I even named my mn nn after a phrase Nessa uses, that me and my sil went on to use. We are Welsh so it sounds almost like Nessa herself

Also love Stella, perhaps more, as Pontyberry is just like the town I live in.

I'm chuckling at these quotes! Didn't watch it originally but my parents kept going on about it. One Friday night my mother phoned to say it was being replayed back to back from the beginning so we decided to give it a watch. We got totally hooked.
I'd forgotten how much I loved it until reading this. I need to watch them all again this weekend!
