To hate that Mumsnetters Do This

Everytime someone says something popular opinion on mumsnet disagrees with they are accused of being stupid and uneducated.

You mainly see it on immigration, Europe and political parties.

These people who namecall never actually argue the point but accuse the poster of being uneducated.

Unless mumsnet changes any form of debate on here is going to be boring.

OP posts:
Fairenuff · 17/05/2015 17:20

OP are you going to engage with posters on your thread at all? If not, why did you start it?

BuzzardBird · 17/05/2015 17:21

Yes Corporal Pag! Wink

BuzzardBird · 17/05/2015 17:21

She probably has Faire, in her other name.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/05/2015 17:23

I hate it when people post goady shit and fuck off

HoneyDragon · 17/05/2015 17:24

Although I am less stupid, because on Friday I totally didn't need to start a thread entitle oh FUCK, I have inadvertently dyed my hair purple instead of silver Because I have been so previously well informed by Mnetters on stain removal so many times previously.

HoneyDragon · 17/05/2015 17:25

If Pags Corporal can I be a Sergant?

fattymcfatfat · 17/05/2015 17:28

did write a big post but stupid phone deleted it.
but erm... yeah, what ghosty said.

BuzzardBird · 17/05/2015 17:28

Thought you were Admiral Honey?

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 17/05/2015 17:29

Ah Honey - let's face it though, you have had some epically unclever moments in life, which you have been generous enough to share with us all! Grin

Did you really dye your hair purple? Grin

HoneyDragon · 17/05/2015 17:42

Little bit Thumb. Could have happened to anyone.

I was an Admiral, but I went down with my thread when Tech sank it . I took the rest of Mnet down with though and caused at least ten minutes of panic and dissent though.

ilovesooty · 17/05/2015 17:50

Fairenuff probably not.
Hmm

Cowardly name changers lob a grenade and then fuck off.

crustsaway · 17/05/2015 17:55

There is a lot of "competitive" everything on here Grin

My favourite is "back your statement up" Errr, Im not on question time or some debate programme am I???

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 17/05/2015 17:56

I kind of thought that Gralick was being sarcastic, was she not then? Confused

HoneyDragon · 17/05/2015 17:58

Well, I certainly regret giving her that pot of petunias and secret hand shake right now.

Cowardly name changers?

Oh, and there are some very angry people here that's for sure.

If someone gets an aggressive roasting then they aren't going to come back. To call people "cowards" is bloody nasty.

Oh and "competitive" snide humour too Grin

PinkSquash · 17/05/2015 18:05

I know an old guard, he's in his 80s* now and a thoroughly decent chap. He wouldnt stand for any of this sillybollocks though.

Cowardice was frowned upon.

*He may be older, but one never likes to ask.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/05/2015 18:07

and competitive goady attention seeking to - how very passée

I want to be chief petty officer

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 17/05/2015 18:09

What are you talking about, Maryz? I recognise names on here too. If you don't do the pathetic chum-bombing then I'm not referring to you, am I?

crustsaway · 17/05/2015 18:10

Particularly to goad? how do you know that? there is a lot of "assuming" that goes on here. People do have different views on things and certain members do "flock" and metaphorically "batter" others. YANBU OP.

But then some people are on here night and day making "judgements"

People don't have to be friends in real life to become "cyber" keyboard bashing pals.

Fairenuff · 17/05/2015 18:11

If you the sort to get frightened off a thread, there is very little point in starting a new one about it because you are obviously likely to get frightened again.

Better to stand your ground, make your point or back out and hide the thread leave the discussion quietly. We can't debate with someone who isn't here.

ghostyslovesheep · 17/05/2015 18:13

Crusts you sound bitter - do you need a hug :(
