To truly hate being pregnant?!

Arrrgh. Needed a rant.

38 weeks pregnant. I have hated every moment of it! but had very little reason to lol.

Never had morning sickness (Well I was queasy but nothing worth whinging about)

But the aching, pulling every muscle, general 9 months of feeling like shit. discharge (tmi!), stretch marks from my chin to my toes, waiting around for midwifes, hearing the same shit from people asking about my baby and bump..etc (I'm not a people person, can you tell)

Now I'm 38 weeks, and 4ft 11, I'm pretty much a walking bump. Getting out of bed is like a turtle stuck on its back. All arms and legs. My knees hurt, my legs hurt, my back hurts.

Strangers ask me how long I have. And people keep telling me how much I will miss my bump (no!) and the sleep (what sleep?! the 3 hours of pain I get on my side?) and how much they all loved being pregnant, I don't even like the movements, I feel invaded, haha.

They are lying to me yes? I didn't even glow. In fact I'm covered in blue veins, I look like death.

(Comments about how I should be lucky I'm pregnant at all need not be posted, I'm not looking for sympathy...etc)

I just can't wait for this little beggar to be out and then the "fun" can get started! ;)

YANBU -worst experience health wise, just felt very unwell both times!

I can't believe I did it again actually! I'm glad now though!

Yanbu. I hated it. Had No 2 10 months ago, with a five year gap in order to forget how bad it is.

Am driving over to a friend tomorrow to give her all my baby clothes as I'm not doing it again!

Labour was fine for me, but pregnancy and the early sleepless nights were both hell.

I'm considering ttc for dc3 and you are all putting me off and bringing it back to me how hard it is being pregnant. I get sickness and spd and it makes me feel generally so ill. I just dont know what to do.

YADNBU I have a 4 week old and I'm getting more sleep now than when I was pg. I was lucky and had a relatively easy pregnancy but it's shit and you don't feel like yourself. Once they're out it's much more fun! And the first time I could put socks on... Bliss!

I will never have a third. As much as I am loving the baby stage this time and as much as it was all worth it I just couldn't go through 40 odd weeks of depressed misery, hormones and back breaking discomfort again.

Oh god. We're TTC #2 and this is putting me right off!

1st pregnancy was great compared to some of the horror stories I've heard. Wasn't sick once but the back pain, middle of the night leg cramps, nausea, unbelievable exhaustion and also relentless insomnia on top of a 2 hour commute to work daily was enough to make me unable to even think about the possibility of another one for a loooonnnnnggggg time.

If I do get pregnant this time will be worse with a small child to look after on top of it all... Shit.
