Over time I have warmed to UKIP. I see the other parties as self serving bullshitters. Recently I looked at schools for dd, every local school is bursting at the seams, bulge years etc and it's likely I won't get a school of choice. I've been told be teachers and other parents that a high percentage of the children at said schools do not speak English, so rather than teaching maths, the teachers spend more time just trying to teach English to non English speakers.

I live in an average area, I've been told be friends in other areas that it's the same there. There's not enough housing, schools and NHS resources to cope with the levels of immigration. So which stupid power hungry politicians decided it was a good idea to allow all this immigration when there wasn't the infrastructure to cope with it or the funds to pay for more schools etc?

I'm not from a 'British' family myself and have plenty of non British friends, it's not about racism, it's common sense, you can't have an uncontrolled surge in population and expect public services to cope unless you're happy to pay for it. Though I'm sure the govt arehappy that this has caused wages to be driven down...

I understand what you are Saying justanother re the immigration policy and being shouted down. I just can't take them seriously. To quote the bloke in the Question Time Audience just now. What are his economic policies? When he stops playing to the media as politics bad boy and actually gets a grip on reality with a list of policies. I won't be voting for him.

And as a mum are not worried??. UKIP policies to date are no maternity pay/right for those employed by small business, flat rate of tax for all, a millionaire will have the same tax rate as the low paid, complete sell off of the NHS. UKIP are a more right wing version of the current government, paid holiday pay scrapped, joy security paid for by lower wages. FYI governments of all colours always blame immigrants for the housing crisis, lack of school places, unemployment and NHS shortage. Immigrants are always the get out of jail card. The reality is these problems are caused by Government policy. Sell off Social housing allow non UK residents to buy housing and abolish rent controls and then you wonder why there is uncontrolled house prices, unaffordable rents (Conservative policies) Encourage by to let enable people to buy up all available housing and rent it out at high rent (Labour policies) making the crisis worse and then allow only the private sector to build houses, the private sector then under build to keep prices high. Who suffers?????? ordinary people. Non of that was caused by immigrants, but they get the blame. UKIP have no plans to change this.
