I am so happy DS wants to become a plumber.

I love it when journalists start threads pretending to be ordinary members, i always reply to them in a serious way

candycoatedwaterdrops · 28/12/2013 10:26

"Wooohoooooo, the Matthew Wright show is on in 10 mins!"

thisismyYuleTimenickname · 28/12/2013 10:35

I hope there will be more newspaper articles about the naughty mums on mumsnet who gasp talk about sex while trying to become pregnant 2014...I felt that it was important, mature journalism that really represented us well and drove a lot of positive traffic here.

Be careful about the Billy Bear.
I waged a one woman campaign over my DC fighting the bear. I stood them at the counter when buying naice ham, discussing with my BFF (works on the deli counter) the evilness of the bear.
DD (18) drove to ASDA at 11pm last night to purchase lunch items for work today. (Disclaimer, there are enough ingredients chez Scarlett to provide lunch for 30.)
You can guess what she bought for her sandwiches...

I'm struggling to raise my DCs in difficult conditions and am thinking about giving Social Services a call to see if they can offer any practical support.

PrincessFlirtyPants · 28/12/2013 11:07

I learnt a lot from Jeremy Kyle and his style of conflict resolution. Also, I feel I can really relate to the guests on his show.

Pan · 28/12/2013 11:23

There just isn't enough football on television. We need at least one more free-to-air channel for it.

thisismyYuleTimenickname · 28/12/2013 11:24

I confess! The ony reason I signed up was to come here to goad as I'm a male troll who hates women/feminists/MN. However I now apologise for disrupting sensitive threads and will never do it again.

World of Warcraft improved my marriage.

thisismyYuleTimenickname · 28/12/2013 11:27

On S&B: I don't really care about my skin, I use ordinary soap on my face in it works just fine.

Pan · 28/12/2013 11:28

Yes, console games are a really good way for the player to develop emotional attachments to characters, and thereby exercise a necessary inter-personal capacity in RL. So let dh/dp play on his computer as much as he wants. It'll do all your family the world of good.

'I asked DP to clean the kitchen and take the DCs out. He did with no quabble. '

'No I don't think you should have that cake and wine'

MyMILisfromHELL · 28/12/2013 18:50

MN is full of stuck up cows

thisismyYuleTimenickname · 28/12/2013 18:53

Everyone is so nice and calm in AIBU! And there is no swearing which is good because I hate swearing.

MyMILisfromHELL · 28/12/2013 18:55

MNHQ do not have favourites!

thisismyYuleTimenickname · 28/12/2013 19:01

I wish people would name themselves things like Jessica_77 instead of those weird nicknames mumsnetters usually use.

scottishmummy · 28/12/2013 19:07

Pan · 28/12/2013 19:09

I prefer to read txt sp. It's rather clever and is a marker of the evolution of the written word.

scottishmummy · 28/12/2013 19:11
