" Just stick with him, he'll change eventually"

Inspired by another thread, what advice, response you never hear on mn?

My boyfriend & I want to get matching tattoos (probably with our names intertwined). We are considering:

Exact same for both of us,
Mirror images (mine reflects his & visa versa),
Half of a heart each.

It's so hard to decide! What would you do?

Anyway I will probably get called professionally offended/SN brigade etc.

But I think bringing mentioning SN onto threads like this is pretty low.

Given that some people with kids with SN get EL abuse and criticism for their kids behaviour as people think they are naughty, hence they find it a relevant point.

MightyMagnificentScarfaceClaw · 27/12/2013 16:56

I thought it was a bit insensitive too. (((hug))) for Fanjo

StealthPolarBear · 27/12/2013 17:02

Not in the slightest fanjo. I interpreted it differently but am prepared to admit I was wrong.

"Long story short", followed by a long story cut short.

Bodypopper · 27/12/2013 17:15

Breast feeding makes your boobs sag. It's also intensely irritating as you can't go out on the piss with the girls and leave baby at home with dh.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 27/12/2013 17:20

My four year old is a free reader, but I suppose everyone will be by the time they apply to Oxbridge.

nowahousewife · 27/12/2013 17:25

My kids go to private school as there's no way I'd send them to the local comp Wink

hootloop · 27/12/2013 17:27

The thing about SN is most children with SN are far better behaved than a lot of other children because their parents are normally so hot on it

ashamedoverthinker · 27/12/2013 17:32

Forgive him/them

MostWicked · 27/12/2013 17:38

If you are worried that he might leave you, get pregnant by him. That'll keep him with you.

MostWicked · 27/12/2013 17:40

The same child has had the lead in every school play for the past 5 years. She is so very talented, and really deserves to get a scholarship to stage school.

friday16 · 27/12/2013 17:42

It was my choice to have Christmas with them, and I knew that they're hard work, so I can't complain really.

VampyreofTimeandMemory · 27/12/2013 17:43

" enjoy your girls' night out! "

hootloop · 27/12/2013 17:46

stealth me speaking, I have learnt a lot from parents of children with SN. Particularly my sons best friend's mum, 2 of her three sons are autistic including DS's friend and she is amazing and they are so well behaved whilst they obviously struggle sometimes she would never let something slide just because of their diagnosis.

:) impressed you understood the questiontbh. My phone is not easy to type on

halfwildlingwoman · 27/12/2013 17:53

Of course I understand why you don't drive. It's expensive, difficult and bad for the environment. You are in no way a traitor to feminism.

halfwildlingwoman · 27/12/2013 17:54

I don't mind discussing the same topic more than once.

monet3 · 27/12/2013 17:55

My child is not intelligent

scottishmummy · 27/12/2013 17:57
