Pasta with frozen peas and cheese IS cooking and IS a complete meal.

Mini tarts with homemade pastry followed by Lamb with mint sauce served with med roasted veg and green beans with stuffed mushrooms on the side and some homemade pate on home baked bread followed by homemade apple pie is not a quick meal for midweek.

Chips are fine. Ready ones even better. An inocent potato in the form of an oven chip hasnt kill anyone.

friday16 · 27/12/2013 15:48

I feel OK in complaining about the coalition's policies, as I voted Labour.

Lazyjaney · 27/12/2013 15:50

Teachers know more than I do about education of children, my child included.

LineRunner · 27/12/2013 15:54

It's fine to make a packed lunch of kit kats and old burgers.

The Pope, yes, he is an inspiration to secular women everywhere.

OtisSpankmyarse · 27/12/2013 15:57

DD has a cut finger? Instead of calling an ambulance how about you just clean the cut, put a plaster on it and send her back out to play.

Pipachi · 27/12/2013 16:01

Paul McCartney is getting better with age.

TeenAndTween · 27/12/2013 16:03

Onesleeptillwembley · 27/12/2013 16:04

Tony Blair - the people's politician.

Lazyjaney · 27/12/2013 16:04

It's OK for other adults to tell off my child for being naughty.

And yes, sometimes my child is just plain naughty.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 27/12/2013 16:08

I can take or leave my MIL... I have no strong feelings either way.

scottishmummy · 27/12/2013 16:09

If he's such a git of a man stopping getting pg by him, having another baby is stupid

The folk telling you Leave the bastard wouldn't say boo to their own man, they buy his pants, skivvy about, live off his wages
But are emboldened by how other women should act

Lazyjaney · 27/12/2013 16:15

Actually, don't leave the bastard over an issue like this, it's very likely two adults with good intentions can sort it out, maybe even without going to Relate.

ThreeWisePerpendicularVinces · 27/12/2013 16:27

How about we agree to disagree. I respect your opinion and am not going to resort to name calling, emoticons, mentioning judgy pants or getting my friends to pile in.

TheZeeTeam · 27/12/2013 16:30

That Scottishmummy has very valid opinions about SAHMs.

TheXxed · 27/12/2013 16:38

Snort at seizetheday.

neunundneunzigluftballons · 27/12/2013 16:39

Also children with SN are also the "rest of society" who said they weren't

StealthPolarBear · 27/12/2013 16:46

It looks like you did but I suspect the distinction was poorly behaved children vs the rest.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 27/12/2013 16:47

The person who said no your child doesn't have ST you just haven't taught them to fit in with the rest of society. Which was nice
