if you google I am sure you will find out all about what germs live on the loo roll and surrounding surfaces from "loo spray", and that germs can pass through the paper when you wipe. Then pass to door handles, keyboards etc that you touch. just wash your hands

There are more germs on your kitchen cloth than there are touching the toilet roll and the toilet handle! Obviously public toilets are different.

I think it should be the other way round. Sometimes public loos are so disgusting it is probably cleaner to do a quick wee and escape........at home though seriously WASH YOUR HANDS YOU MINGER :)

Yuck! Even at my laziest and sickest I've never considered not washing my hands after using the loo. It's basic hygiene.

That would be stupid not to wash hands to make food or drinks, and it is said that there's more germs in other places than on your loo, I wash my hands most of the time its mostly at night and I'm tired and cba, there are many people who are worst than me

YANBU. If I have a wee in the night I don't even turn on the light or open my eyes. I'm not going to start faffing about washing my hands. I do in the daytime though. I find the people funny who just rinse their finger tips with water and then get all judgy about people not washing their hands. Unless you use antibacterial handwash you may as well not bother. Anyone who doesn't wash their hands after having a shit is gross!
