Schools are interested, or rather should be, in any wrong doing that the child is involved in, even outside of school hours.

Usually the police or other agencies inform them, when they become aware of them.

Very rarely would a child be involved in something that isn't going to affect them in school, or their education/well being, in some way.

Schools are now concerned about 'the whole child' and not just their educational performance.

Any update op?

chloekitten · 12/06/2012 18:38

It sounds extremely threatening to me.
I would report it to CEOP, the police, and the school.

I would also speak to the parents - take a screen shot and show them.

bruffin · 12/06/2012 18:43

Why don't people bother reading threads
Op had reported it to police and school.

RabidAnchovy · 19/06/2012 17:34

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
For those of you who might still be interested, her is the up date as promised

Police woman just called me to say she has been to speak to the boy and he is "very very sorry" and has written a letter of apology to my MIL

She has told him this will be kept on file and any further incidents we see him in a lot of trouble.

Hopefully he has learned a lesson from it.

Thank you everyone who commented x

I'm glad the Police took this matter seriously and updated you. Hope your Mil is ok.

CherryBlossom27 · 19/06/2012 17:43

That's really good that the police have taken it seriously, I remember being horrified when you first posted!

JenaiMarrHePlaysGuitar · 19/06/2012 17:52

Oh that's good to know. Thank you for updating us, Rabid.

How is your mil?

NigellaTufnel · 19/06/2012 17:56

Did the police also warn him against hitting your DS?

RabidAnchovy · 20/06/2012 09:55
