baabaapinksheep · 12/02/2012 23:06

Op - I am an accountant, is that a proper job?

And since you are so sure she doesn't have a proper job I am assuming you know how she spends her time, and how many hours she works??

DamnBamboo · 12/02/2012 23:06

It's not what I've read daenery.

Apparently several big names have asked, could all be bolllocks of course...

Of course fashion houses offer them for free, that's kind of irrelevant though

southeastastra · 12/02/2012 23:06

i think the victoria beckham fab club have infiltrated this thread.

calling the op vile is way ott here.

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/02/2012 23:08

yep. im a celebrity stalker.

accountants work for a living.

celebrity footballers wives dont. just ask colleen rooney....

this is really amusing actually. im astounded that people think that VB works hard for a living....i am most amused., Grin

EverybodysSnowyEyed · 12/02/2012 23:08

I'm no fan of VB - I just hate the moralising and judginess about other peoples jobs.

We can't all be police officers you know!

DamnBamboo · 12/02/2012 23:09

So now VB and DB are lazy-arsed celebs and are doing sod all?

I love it, I will come back to this thread just to see what bile you spew forth next

southeastastra · 12/02/2012 23:10

it is quite funny i agree, bile?? some anger issues on this thread coming out

KwaziiHunt · 12/02/2012 23:10

There was an article in this weekends guardian about her business. She does it all herself.

It seems really hateful to me to suggest that she doesn't do it herself. Why that assumption? Women really do seem to hate other women sometimes.

baabaapinksheep · 12/02/2012 23:10

I work 21 hours a week, and you have very kindly confirmed that I have a proper job. How many hours does VB work then?? You must know if you think you are in a position to call her lazy!

EverybodysSnowyEyed · 12/02/2012 23:10

Well if this thread had been about Colleen Rooney than YANBU - here is a fine example of someone trading off her name!

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/02/2012 23:11

hey south....its fine but thanks anyway! if someone actually thinks i am vile it probably means im making some progress! i am soft as shite in reality....when i arrest people they tell the custody sgts that im really nice....thats probably not a good thing to be fair....vile is good! shows i have it in me! Grin i need to work on my vile....

OP posts:
KwaziiHunt · 12/02/2012 23:12

But she's not Coleen Rooney. She is Victoria beckham and she is now a respected fashion designer. Why can't she be simply because she is married to David beckham? Must she stay in the background being meek? How very 1950's.

southeastastra · 12/02/2012 23:13

Grin vicar

coleen will have her own range soon too, it will never end and wayne posing in his pants argh

southeastastra · 12/02/2012 23:13

he's already had his head tattooed

DamnBamboo · 12/02/2012 23:15

I'm not angry at all, it is rather amusing.

But I do find the OP's comment acerbic hence my use of the word bile.

daenerysstormborn · 12/02/2012 23:16

i think calling vb lazy is ott, but on the other hand, the idea of her doing it all herself is naive.

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/02/2012 23:17

go go go colleen! i mean - whats the difference between her and Victoria Beckham?

im sure colleen works equally hard.....Grin

OP posts:
yellowraincoat · 12/02/2012 23:20

So what? Would it be better if they sat around doing nothing?

serin · 12/02/2012 23:25

I am no fan of celebs at all but I know that if it were not for the intervention of the Beckhams (and their huge donations) a certain childrens charity would have had to close.

There are worse people out there to have a go at.

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/02/2012 23:26

erm.....they do sit around doing nothing. they get paid millions for being photographed in underwear....is that the definition of hard work now?

OP posts:
BrightnessFalls · 12/02/2012 23:26

Did you read this interview yesterday? www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/feb/10/victoria-beckham-fashion-exclusive

I like them both. They both work hard in their own field.

daenerysstormborn · 12/02/2012 23:30

yes, read that. if it's in the press, then it's all true, 100% true, not going to be spin at all or a PR based advertorial timed to coincided with the launch of a fusion range is it? Hmm

yellowraincoat · 12/02/2012 23:30

So what? I don't see why this bothers you. You could say equally that working in a shop isn't that hard either but you'd get flamed to the hilt for it.

ThatVikRinA22 · 12/02/2012 23:35

see that interview makes me feel proven right. her "job" consists of seeing how dresses will look on her and saying if they will look right or wrong. job done. poor her - the jet lag....having to keep her hair and nails looking good when tired....

is that a job? really?
