Northern language. I lived up North for 13 years and still use it sometimes (when I'm not concentrating). My standards have slipped...

Butterbur · 11/04/2011 17:31

Hie thee to pedants' corner, Mike, where you will find like-minded people.

JaneS · 11/04/2011 17:31

Is there a test we have to take, before we are allowed to post on MN ?

YouaretooniceNOT · 11/04/2011 17:32

I am sit, sat, sitting, satting here... left...

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 11/04/2011 17:34

The pedants are coming out of their corner and going on the warpath. The satting has reached saturation point.

GreenEyesandHam · 11/04/2011 17:35

Or is that just me Confused......

It is wrong, but then the word "bath" does not contain an "R" as everyone south of Watford seems to think. Grin

RogerMelly · 11/04/2011 17:55

alistron1 · 11/04/2011 17:59

Can I take this opportunity, while I am 'sat' here, to remind an awful lot of people that LOOSE and LOSE are two different words. You do not loose weight (reminds me of the adipose on Dr Who), loose your car keys or loose your temper (well, sometimes I do let mine loose) you fecking well fecking LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE them.

TheMonster · 11/04/2011 18:01

YANBU.

ResurrectionByChocolate · 11/04/2011 18:04

jerURSULAmBuffay · 11/04/2011 18:06
