to be [hmm] about a poster when I PM them and get this...

OK so I don't often PM people, but do occassionally.

Today I tried to PM someone and when I clicked send it came up with a message:
"Sorry but PMs aren't the quickest way to get in contact with Justine..." and went on to give an MN email address to contact her at instead.

So I'm now Hmm about the OP as the implcation from this message is that this person is someone at MNHQ posting annonymously.

I might add that I also PM someone else today and didn't get that message and have never seen it before either.

Of course it could just be a bug. But I'm still rather Hmm. Especially as the OP is posting as a dad...

What would you think?

I did email MNHQ, no answer yet.

And I tried to PM the person again to be sure it wasn't a blip and got same message come up...

Is it not that Justine had name changed and OP thought she had PMd someone who was in fact Justine? Because if you PM Justine's actual name it comes up with that message...

See I'd rather not say who it is as it may be a genuine poster and be a bug causing it and don't want them getting loads of grief as their message is one asking for advice.

And when it happened my immediate thought was wow weird bug. But now I've thought about it some I'm thinking Hmm

I take it no one else has ever had this happen then?

no I didn't PM "Justine". It was a totally different name.
If it was Justine why is she pretending to be a dad..?
