OK so I don't often PM people, but do occassionally.

Today I tried to PM someone and when I clicked send it came up with a message:
"Sorry but PMs aren't the quickest way to get in contact with Justine..." and went on to give an MN email address to contact her at instead.

So I'm now about the OP as the implcation from this message is that this person is someone at MNHQ posting annonymously.

I might add that I also PM someone else today and didn't get that message and have never seen it before either.

Of course it could just be a bug. But I'm still rather . Especially as the OP is posting as a dad...

What would you think?

I love contentious threads - where everyone piles in and has a go an MNHQ (best one is the Daily Mail thread last year).

I always like to think that Justine mutters 'oh you lot can go FUCK yourselves' and makes to switch off ther power to the servers, and gets strongarmed by the tech guys.

No, we're not ignoring you; just keeping a dignified silence while we checked things out.

And we can now announce that, after rigorous checks and staggeringly technological feats of sleuthing brilliance, that Justine is not a troll.

PS: The PM system got a bit buggered snarled up when we tried to fix something else.
