to ask if you do it when it is your time of the month?

My current DP doesn't want to have sex while I'm on my period. The issue has only come up in one previous relationship and he was fine with it so I was just wondering how many people have sex while on their period and if you don't is it your choice or your DP's?

I don't out of my own choice. THink DP would be happy either way but I just wouldn't like the feeling or the mess for that matter.

Im 46 and I only met one person in my life who wanted to whilst I was on.

I've had two long terms of more than 7 years, and 6 or 7 long terms of over a year.

Most guys think it is gross.

We do, as long as it is not the first two or three days when I am in "full-flow".

And the choice to abstain for those few days is mine, not his.

I have done once or twice but you really need to use a condom. Also it's a flat on the back job as the mess would be awful going on top etc. Not much fun so not much point IMO.

What parakeet said. If it's towards the end and there's only a very small amount of flow going on (I have v light periods anyway) then not a problem. Wouldn't on the heavier days, feel too bloated then anyway.

Not the first 3 days, but after that we do. My choice, I don't think he would care, but then he doesnt do the washing.

yes, OH takes advantage as thats when I'm most in the mood. Sorry if tmi Blush but I do know a male friend who will not go near his GF when she is 'on' but each to there own :)

I only found out on MN that some women have sex during their period. I was very shocked. DH too when I told him. I just assumed everybody abstained during their period.

I don't think most guys think it's gross at all Fabby....I have met quite a few who wanted to do it during.

I don't though...it feels wrong..sort of yukky.

Me and DP did do, in the early stages of our relationship. Because we were long-distance, and we could only see each other once every couple of weeks, so we spent most of the time in bed when we did see each other, snuggling and "cuddling".

He really didn't mind and I only minded afterwards when we had to clean up whatever mess was made.

But now, since we have lived together for a while, we usually just wait until the end through mutual choice - though he usually is quite disappointed. Maybe the last day or two, but I'm usually so light by then that it's not a problem.

No. DH is squeamish about it and I feel as horny as a wet fish the days before and during.
