My current DP doesn't want to have sex while I'm on my period. The issue has only come up in one previous relationship and he was fine with it so I was just wondering how many people have sex while on their period and if you don't is it your choice or your DP's?

DH is squeamish and doesn't like the idea of blood on his dick. He doesn't think menstruating women are unclean. Menstrual blood (mine anyway) is definitely not clean, it smells metallic and nasty and it's all gloopy and sticky. I hate the feeling of my vagina leaking blood, it's as far from sexy as it's possible to be for me, so it doesn't bother me in the least that he doesn't want to. We can fill the other 21 days of the month with plenty to make up for it!
