don't get pictured falling out of dress/bar/into car every sat for the next month

along with headlines of 'cheryl drowns sorrows' etc etc

MrBricolage · 23/02/2010 17:22

I was very very tempted to go all vengeful re XP when found out he had been sleeping with prostitutes etc and we split.

ideas:

Cutting of plugs on every appliance and light fititng in the house (good idea, that, how annoying and time consuming to fix).

Shoving a load of prawns under floorboards.

Throwing clutch fluid over car.

Binning all his clothes.

Luckily had good friends who did calm down calm down motions and stopped me. Because revenge is not sweet imo.

Don't marry another flash-the-cash knob-end. Perhaps spend time looking a little deeper in the gene-pool, and a little less feeling up the width of the wallet. It's a bit out of left-field, but why not look at all the Nice Guys out there?...

Actually, that advice works for more than just Cheryl...

MrBricolage · 23/02/2010 17:24

and embarassign in Magistrates' court

Christ she can't afford to lose weight.

I did when split. I felt so sick with anger and upset that if I did eat I would be sick after.

It was a cracking weight loss plan in hindsight.

MrBricolage · 23/02/2010 17:25

But chezza woudl know about that.

And another of my mother's classics - "the best revenge is to live well"

Scorps · 23/02/2010 17:25

Get comfy in your own skin, you don't need a man. You need to be good in you first for something else to work

eat.sleep.

yes you will love again

stay away from him. Don't care what he's thinking, feeling - it's irrelevant.

Realise that he treated you badly. This is not your fault.

When you start "dating" again, use your imagination and go a little further afield than the bar of Movida/Kanaloa.

compo · 23/02/2010 17:27

UnquietDad · 23/02/2010 17:29

Well, let's be honest, would it have happened if she had married Barry the Accountant?

skinsl · 23/02/2010 17:29

really sorry, but has she left him??? Bit out of touch!!

BariatricObama · 23/02/2010 17:30

next time you find yourself in a relationship with a man who spends lots of time on his appearance and lingers too long in the changing room after matches buy him this and get outta there

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/02/2010 17:30

OOOH get rid of Kate Middleton's ass and install Chezza as the new Princess Di.

Princess Cheryl. Because one's worth it.

Go on, Wills, get rid of Kate M and her skanky suede boots and upgrade yerself.

MrBricolage · 23/02/2010 17:30

Kick him in the nuts (in private).

I reckon she should wait a few months (my bet - the summer) until Brangelina split. Then become Brad's new "BFF". Hang around for a few more months, looking sympathetic, not-crazy and very friendly. Bag Brad. Go stellar

[alternatively, hire me as your lifestyle advisor now, for mega-bucks, and woman, I'll teach you a thing or two. But not about lesbianism. You have that covered]

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/02/2010 17:32

Men wearing wedding rings whole other thread Bric.
