I am in awe of all these people who have met loads of celebrities and have interesting stories to post about.

It got me thinking.......the closest I have ever got was when I was young Tilda Swinton's mum & dad used to let me ride on their estate and one day I patted Tilda's old pony.

And that's it!!

Anyone else got equally tenous sleb stories (and yes I am very bored....)?

I had the same french teacher as one of the guys from The Full Monty. but he is like nearly 20 years older than me.....

Thandi Newton is my SIL's DH's cousin.

Oh and my organ teacher used to teach Tony Blair at Fettes College.

oh - and the mother of my best friend at school used to teach the Al Fayed children the piano when they were residing at their Scottish residence

DS2's godmother's BIL is quite famous

my middle brother's godfather has painted the Queen

The queen and Prince P once passed me when I was hitchhiking a lift on the A9.
They never stopped.....

oh and my parents went to church with the Queen Mother when they were on their honeymoon (traveling around the north of Scotland)

jimmy tarbuck is my second cousin. oh yes. i am therefore famous. i have, however, never met him.

i sat next to grotbags in a pub once. she was nice and not at all scary.

I stood next to Tom Conte in a queue in a caff when skiing. He asked me to pass the ketchup in the deepest sexiest voice imaginable. He must have been 25 years older than but swoon he really was lovely (but short). Spent the whole of the rest of my season looking out for him.

My daughter's uncle once got steaming drunk with the Wurtzels.

oh and same BF's dad played in the backing gropu for Pink Floyd many years ago.

And she is now married to a distant relative of Danni and Kylie Minogue.
