What's you best, really tenuous link to a sleb?

I am in awe of all these people who have met loads of celebrities and have interesting stories to post about.

It got me thinking.......the closest I have ever got was when I was young Tilda Swinton's mum & dad used to let me ride on their estate and one day I patted Tilda's old pony.

And that's it!!

Anyone else got equally tenous sleb stories (and yes I am very bored....)?

Just looked him up and turns out that this particular cousin is now a psychiatrist!

My niece can see into J K Rowlings kitchen from her bedroom window.

i once told a lie to spike milligans daughter. it wasn't even face to face. how lame is that?!

Oh I had almost forgotten to tell you all about my incredibly tenuous link to JK Rowling - ready?

My friend's cousin's ex-husband is JK Rowling's current husband!

All mine seem to involve cousins for some reason...

OK:

I have had business dealings with Karl Pilkington before he hooked up with Ricky Gervais. He was droll.

I competed against various members of Coldplay and Simon Pegg pre-Megafame in a pub quiz. They fancied themselves and very narrowly beat us. Drat.

and drum-roll for the most tenuous: I went to playgroup and brownies with a girl, whose mum's cousin invented Coronation Street. And that was not a simple playground boast. Oh no.

My Dad was in the lift when Michael Hutchins (INXS) was propositioned by the gay owner of a major record label.

Heated · 16/10/2008 23:11

Think I ought to point out my father was in the same lift at the same time! lol

My husband's mum's sister's husband transplanted the liver of George Best... Tenuous enough?

Toni Blair got an aide to try and get the shop where I worked several thousand pounds worth of stock, the day after the election. You would have thought they would have had other stuff to do really.

And I saw Ulrika in a supermarket.
