I am in awe of all these people who have met loads of celebrities and have interesting stories to post about.

It got me thinking.......the closest I have ever got was when I was young Tilda Swinton's mum & dad used to let me ride on their estate and one day I patted Tilda's old pony.

And that's it!!

Anyone else got equally tenous sleb stories (and yes I am very bored....)?

Michael Ball's grandad worked near where I grew up.

DD's ex boyfriend knew Kate Winslet's family & took her to Kate's brother's birthday party.

I used to babysit Barry Norman's kids.

DH's parents shared a party line with him when he lived near Hergest Ridge & DH & I were always hogging the line when he wanted to use the phone, but he was too shy to tell us - we'd just hear him pick up the phone & sigh, one of us would say 'Do you want to use the phone, Mr Oldfield?' & he'd say 'Oh, no that's OK & hang up....'

I used to be friends with someone who had Kelly Brook at her wedding.

Kylie spoke to one of my friends,her son was on tour with her & when he said he was going to ring his mum,she asked if she could say hello too.Friend was pretty gobsmacked to find Kylie on the phone.

Various famous cricketers have stayed with my parents, Nick Mason has been to their house as well, Roger Daltry used to give my sister lifts to Waterloo when she was at school.

My grand dad chased the Beatles off "his" table at a transport caf in the 1960s.

I shared digs at uni with a girl who used to be babysat by Victoria Beckham.

And with another girl(at a separate time) who as a child was in a made-for-TV-film with Liz Hurley.

My sister has had large numbers of slebs to dinner and to stay, but then she is married to an Ambassador.

Oh and DS has had lunch with Adrian Chiles and quite a few West Brom footballers because my brother in law's brother in law is a shareholder at the club & knows AC and Frank Skinner.
