Oh wow, Jenrick is proposing Reform would instruct the Royal Marines to use lethal force to stop small boats, murder asylum seekers.

Vile man

I think they’d probably mutiny.

Evenstar · 12/10/2026 17:09

I hope they would, he would probably have to conscript some of Tommo’s Black Shorts, but they would probably end up having to get the RNLI to rescue them 🙄

BIossomtoes · 12/10/2026 17:03

I think they’d probably mutiny.

No doubt, and Jenrick knows but he has no qualms proposing such an idea.

Locker room banter coming up?

Yes, he is a vile man, and he always was. Unfortunately, he knows Reform supporters will lap it all up.

Notonthestairs · 12/10/2026 18:00

BS are the Marines going to use lethal force in the Channel.
FFS.
Are there no depths he won't plumb?

If there are they have yet to be discovered.

Vile man

Perhaps he'll require it to be live streamed?

Efacsen · 12/10/2026 18:35

It was much much better when he was only responsible for spitefully painting over children's murals

Persephonia1966 · 12/10/2026 18:35

Jenrick is just getting back to traditional Christian values.
Like the old hymn "hear us when we cry to thee for those in peril on the sea unless they're foreigners in which please lord let the fuckers drown"

Edit: hear not forgive

Last week it was Aberdeen,
Next week Cardiff,
Week after Doncaster,
Then Ely (or Egremont)

Guiildford.

I think you can safely ignore them.

But apparently it’s impossible to influence voting in another country. 🙄

As it goes, in today's alphabet soup , it is Birmingham and Leeds. If anyone wants a mildly amusing diversion, have a read of the Leeds thread.

It’s where I live so I’ll have a look at that thread! 😂

Piggywaspushed · 12/10/2026 20:13

Ah, maybe you know what it is to be b** raised.

Notonthestairs · 12/10/2026 20:31

My BiL was raging about the supposed "no go" areas in Glasgow when we were up there at the weekend. As in, there aren't any. (Of course there are dodgy bits like every other city has had since cities began).

I love Glasgow. It is so friendly.

TemperanceWest · 12/10/2026 20:32

I was also in Leeds last week. No mention of no go areas from friends there.

BIossomtoes · 12/10/2026 21:03

I really like Leeds. Lovely vibrant city.

Evenstar · 12/10/2026 21:11

DS1 went to uni in Leeds he loved it, I have friends and family there who don’t seem to have a problem.
