Not sure if this was a yawn or an audition for The Lion King.

It’s optional but it’s become a sort of tradition to post a picture at the start of a new thread. It began with cats but has morphed into anything we find pleasing now.

Sometimes things can feel awful in mnet, the taxes cheer me up and make me feel that there may be hope for humanity yet.

Cat tax - DD was delighted that this kitty invited itself in to her uni halls last week. Unfortunately DH remembered seeing a poster when we dropped her off which had a photo of the very same cat and said "This cat has a home already. Do not let it into your building."

I love that the box says Eat Me. Almost like the cat is daring anyone to try.

Well we made it to Valencia. But got this today!

Yep. Currently warm and sunny but the plan is to head back to the apartment after lunch and hunker down there. With wine, obvs.

I had one of those when I was in Ibiza last year. Don’t want to worry you but it was followed by rain so hard it kept opening the hotel doors and almost prevented me getting to the airport or taking off once I did…
Relatively short bursts of it though so fingers crossed.

The rain can get bad in Valencia, lovely city btw, but there's always the thunder and lightning, which can be quite spectacular.

My cousin had the same alert when visiting Barcelona a few years ago and whilst the rain was torrential, she saw the positive side re the thunder and lightning.
