Goodness me, wasn't expecting that.

Yes, I wondered about PTSD from his Army postings. My stepson served in Iraq and Afghanistan and to this day won't really talk about it.

does your stepson shove women in front of buses or trains to cope with that? I'm guessing not.

cheezncrackers · 16/09/2026 16:36

What's really shocking is that he wasn't just a random banker - he was a former army officer, related to royalty, AND he also hit a woman with his motorbike in another incident where he didn't stop and check that she was okay. This guy really hated women!

It's not just men that push though - a woman pushed another woman on a bike a few years ago and the cyclist woman died. The pusher had mental health issues, but I do wonder if she'd have done the same to a man. I think all we can say is that people push women.

Oh god, are you really "not all men"ing this post?? 😂😂

And neither do the posters who are saying he was commiting the legal offence of murder yet they are sure in a split second he saw a woman registered a bus coming up from behind him and had a coherent thought that it was an opportunity to murder a stranger

Usually the simple explanation is the correct one, in this case he was one of the seemingly significant number of men who push women out of their way for no reason other than that is their personality

She WAS NOT in his way.

He went out of his way to cross over and hurt or kill her, it is clearly seen in tbe footage and undeniable.

Stop making excuses for him. Goodness me, perhaps you could get a job as Prince Andrew's spin doctor. No one pushes someone into heavy traffic without expecting significant harm to come to them.

Same DNA as the Putney Pusher after all, no doubt their life of extreme privilege made them think that commoners are just to be used, abused and treated with utter contempt.

BluebellBeth · 16/09/2026 16:39

Good.

That wasn't the same at all. The pusher was a woman with a learning disability in that case.

I would hope not, but then my stepson does not use drugs either. A combination of PTSD and drug use could provoke mental health problems and aggression I'm guessing......

Are you talking about Auriol Grey or someone else?

She didnt push the cyclist and her manslaughter conviction was overturned.

notacooldad · 16/09/2026 16:45

I am always wary walking past men near a road. I cycle to work occassionally and part of the journey is a narrow-ish path with a river on one side. If I can see a man approaching either on foot or on a bike, I stick to the side away from the river, as I fear being pushed in. I'm so sorry you actually experienced it happening.
Im the same.
Im always super cautious on train platforms as well..

From what I read he enjoyed a career through who he knew not what he knew. How can someone do a degree in politics and philosophy and end up as a millionaire banker?

SirChenjins · 16/09/2026 15:23

Convicted in that he got points on his license (not the full amount) and a fine of a few hundred points - he thanked the judge and said he'd pay immediately (with a smirk, probably).

It's a shame for his family obviously, but my sympathies lie with the woman who almost lost her life that day.

I think it’s more than shame for his young child(/children) and wife. This is devastating for them too.

I don't think whoever did was trying to murder the stranger to him, it could have ended with her death but you aren't suggesting that person planned to kill someone are you?

This is confusing - what do you mean trying to murder the stranger to him?

not sure what you’re trying to say - sorry if I’m being thick lol

May he RIP.

WTF!? Why? He may well have tried to murder a woman. He nearly killed someone on his motorbike.

Hopefully this poundshop Prince Andrew won't rest at all.

JustHereForTheShitsAndGiggles · 16/09/2026 16:53

I hope he doesn’t RIP

This was totally different, both women were on a narrow path with poor signage and neither was aware they didn't have right of way.
The pedestrian had learning difficulties and visual impairment, and she shouted in panic and gesticulated, causing the cyclist to veer into traffic where she was tragically killed.

The initial conviction was overturned as it was agreed that the signage and space were inadequate and this was the true cause of the accident.

It is very, very different to deliberately push someone into busy traffic and, chillingly, jog back to see the damage you've done.

Imagine how an arrogant posh boy like him would have fared in prison

Family ties will have gotten him the banking job.

FriendlyMedusa · 16/09/2026 15:57

Unfortunately agree with this.

I will never forget the time I was pushing my infant niece in a pram on a path that was easily wide enough for 4-5 people, and rather than just going around me, a high speed lycra bloke dinged his bell repeatedly then skidded just short of hitting us and screamed in my face for not jumping out of his way. A lot of wealthy psychopaths in that city.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear that. It all sounds so typical of what I have seen there. These men really ruin London, which I otherwise love. And it’s clearly done with malicious intent, taking their nastiness out on smaller people. And to ride at you like that as you are pushing a pram is the absolute pits - and I can well imagine how it was too! Makes me so mad.

Iheartpasta · 16/09/2026 16:58

Petrolitis · 16/09/2026 16:55

Indeed. I suspect he’d had such an easy path to “millionaire” status it gave him an entitled attitude meaning he could do whatever the hell he wanted to whomever he wanted

MyGallbladderIsAFucker · 16/09/2026 17:00

Oh that's good hope it was painful.

Trallers · 16/09/2026 17:01

I just watched the video several times and can't see that he crossed from being beside the bus just to push her. He passes a man uneventfully, followed by the woman (who is slightly more in his path than the man was but still only overlapping with his tragectory by a tiny bit). To me it looks like he was full of rage and entitlement that she was not springing out of his way so he impulsively shoves her.

Still, the details are by the by when the behaviour is so violent and unreasonable. And what cowardly behaviour after the event - all these years hiding from the consequences, just to ditch his loved ones and leave them with even more upset when he finally gets caught.

That bus driver's reactions were magnificent.

Easily. Nothing wrong with studying philosophy and politics.

The Chiswick hoi polloi must be in over drive.

Look at the shadow on the ground. He’s initially running in the middle of the shadow cast by the rail of the bridge. The man going the other way is walking just outside the shadow. The woman is just inside the shadow, the jogger moves towards her, she notices and veers out of the shadow towards the curb to try to avoid him, he leans over and pushes her.
