Goodness me, wasn't expecting that.

I was responding to your odd point that those things aren’t a ‘gateway drug for shoving people into busy roads.’ I was saying what those things can tell us about a person, rather than being ridiculously over dramatic.

You think he's a bad person. The PP wasn't just a bad person. He was way more unusual than thst.

Now, of course, the sister could have been lying, but these statements could have been pretty easily refuted by the police if so. They haven’t done this.

Why would the police make a statement about some random statements? They are still investigating.

People genuinely think that giving interviews and providing information via social media/general media is a way to test someones guilt or provide criminal evidence, it really is appalling what our society has come to. Literal trial by social media.

i think someone who hits a woman cycling with his motorbike and drives off (proven) and who very likely was in possession of cocaine plus other substances has a massive lack of regard for other people. Yeah. Sadly some people don’t give a shit about trafficking, sexual violence and murder and contribute to the drugs trade.

I’ve no idea if this guy is the ‘Putney pusher.’ Whoever it was is a vile human being.

I don’t know how they would know this, though. My DH’s family know that he is a runner, but have no clue what routes he takes, for how long, or even if he’s an am or a pm runner.

The attack was in between his two marriages, so I don’t even know whether he was living with anyone at the time, who could give an answer on whether or not he was an am runner.

Strava! They could get his account details from his watch or phone and go back through his account history to see where he was at the time and it would potentially show the change in his path and any speed change as he used energy to push the poor victim. If he thought he'd got away with it, he might not have deleted the run from Strava. I wonder how often Strava is used as evidence...

If the PP was on strava and recording that run he'd have been caught instantly.

OK, well that's the only thing I GAF about in this thread.

I'm strongly opposed to drug use and driving without due care and attention, but that's not what I'm here for.

What about his outlook diary, would that go back 9 years. I dont delete any of my emails, I have them goinng back about 15 years in my current role

I've never worked anywhere where calendar entries were deleted after six months.

And I have worked in two international banks.

I've never heard of this policy. I often have to undertake investigations which means going back through people's calendars and they definitely don't just disappear when I go back 6m. That would be mad.

Probably not kept nine years, and almost definitely not kept after the person has gone though.

I'm late to this but having read several threads nobody has mentioned his remarkable likeness to a slightly squashed AMW. That has surely done him no favours in public opinion, consciously or otherwise. Thanks to the pp upthread who posted a picture that does actually look like him.
I really don't believe the police brought or wanted the media at his arrest. After Cliff Richard there is just no way.
Lastly the rich American who was out of the country at the time of the assault (attempted murder), my sympathies of course for the arrest but he was absolutely in the flight risk demographic and we'd be a lot angrier if it was him and he followed saccoulas and that more recent paedophile.

I thought this too after the claim of media being invited to the arrest—lessons were meant to have been learned from Cliff Richard. Did the police really do this?

His sisters have claimed it but I've not seen any evidence, which is not to say there is none of course.

Agree if it can be documented to have been the police that's very significant, particularly if it were official rather than someone selling info on the quiet. My other thoughts were it could be the person who reported him, or if he engaged a solicitor then a leak from someone in the firm.

I thought it was interesting they're aiming this at the police, rather than the Daily Mail who chose to publish enough information to identify him.

Hitchen's law applies.

Exactly my friend, exactly.

zingally · 20/09/2026 10:14

prh47bridge · 19/09/2026 13:36

You are the one saying he is definitely guilty. You are the one who needs to provide evidence to back that up. The only publicly available evidence is some blurry images that could be him but could equally be someone else, and the fact that a friend of his estranged wife told the police he was the pusher. That clearly falls a long way short of proving it was him. Since you are able to state with absolute certainty it was him, you clearly have access to some other evidence not available to us mere mortals, so why not tell us about it?

Perhaps it's on a "need to know" basis.

prh47bridge · 20/09/2026 10:28

zingally · 20/09/2026 10:13

Exactly my friend, exactly.

So let's apply Hitchen's law. You are asserting that he is guilty without evidence, so we don't need any evidence to dismiss your views.

Or, more likely, you have no evidence.

Okay. So dismiss me. 😂

Yet you just keep on replying and replying... It must be really irritating to you.

I think I'll bow out here. I've kind of lost interest. All the best to you. 😘

Most of the replies to you have come from other people. And no, it is not irritating to me at all, just amusing that someone wants to display their lack of critical thinking by claiming that the evidence is "pretty clear" and that "a smidge of critical thinking generally does the trick". A smidge of critical thinking would tell you that the evidence we've seen is a long way short of proving that he did it.
