The number of posters who know for absolute certain that their cousin is claiming PIP fraudulently.

The posters who share their lived experiences and are then informed by a stranger that what they’ve shared is wrong.

Schools are obsessed with having ex pupils who have gone to an RG university. They often put it on their post 16 websites for pupil destinations. DD left school in 2018 and I had definitely heard of them.

I think we can safely say that in this case at least not mentioning it does NOT mean not accessing it.

I think they’re more focused on the 1 in 3 on hardship support funds WITHIN independent school. On benefits at private school paid by school fees.

1in 3, mostly “middle class” claiming hardship and funds which should be going to the (pitiful) means tasted bursary allocation “charitable” status, instead making its way to “hardship funds” to prop up the middle class who cannot afford the fees. One third (and growing!)

I believe the study is more to point out that private school in 2026 is no demonstration of “wealth” or “status”

Curiosity got the better of me. I see similar views to that above occasionally on here. I think there are a certain subset of people who were traumatised during the pandemic to the point where the mere mention of covid sets off a really odd response. IRL, there are regular waves of covid which will kill some people, disable lots more, leave a number of people feeling wiped out for a few weeks, be like a cold or unnoticeable for many others.

Benefits.
The amount of people who overhear very detailed conversations about how much UC and PIP someone gets, and how to blag it all... all from their neighbours or overheard in a Wetherspoons. Every damn time.
I am on benefits, as are most of the people in my social circles. We never talk about it. Finances are fucking boring and no one is really interested.

Now that is a treat to behold, and having to disinfect the hamzat suit afterwards.

I'm childfree not by choice, but have no issue with children in my area playing and being noisy in their gardens. It's theirs to enjoy and it's the school holidays. It's nice to hear them playing football with their friends. They're not causing trouble or bothering anybody.

I have no issue with the quiet, pleasant and hardworking next door neighbours being outside until late evening eating and talking. It's lovely people enjoy good company in the privacy of their own property.

It's not allowed according to this site though.
