Forecast here is 30c again for the next few days, still no sign of rain and its almost 6 weeks since it last rained, i'm over it now. The freezers in my two nearest supermarkets were out for weeks and the ice cream man deserted us :-( Actually though - the ground is just yellow everywhere in east anglia, this can't be good for farmers and food prices and one of the wildfires in was only a couple of miles from me and its devastated the ground for wildlife.

The thread is for people who can't bear the heat. No need for the 'wow.'. Summer is an ordeal of endurance for many of us to get through and it helps to voice our unhappiness on here without being judged.

I thought the thread was for those of us struggling this summer.... you might want to actually read the thread...
