I hate winter as much as I hate summer.
Mostly because I live with an elderly person who feels even the slightest drop in temperature so our heating is on sometimes up to 30° because we don't have a thermostat.
That means dressing for the weather is exceptionally hard. I struggle with getting dressed due to a disability so "popping an extra layer" on when leaving the house, other than a coat is really difficult if it means going up stairs, finding a jumper that has been packed away, putting that jumper on, then realistically it means sitting and waiting up to an hour for said OAP to have a coffee and a fag and get their clobber together, to then leave. It's never as simple as just popping a jumper on and going.
It's leaves me too hot and bothered and exhausted meanwhile any nice drop in temperature means hours of listening to moaning that it's too cold, hips aren't working, we're paying for the heating for it to just get pissed out of the house (it isn't), can't get warm and stay warm but they won't wear socks or have a blanket or a hot water bottle, or wear gloves or a hat outside.
I know everyone feels the temperature and air pressure differently, and when I'm the same age as my nan I'll probably be having a moan about it too.
If I could afford to have an extended skiing trip somewhere during winter I'd be off like a dart.
I just want one time of year for a few months where it's a nice 20-22°, sunny with clouds, some drizzle with bouts of heavy rainfall, and we're allowed to open the windows for a breeze without it causing anyone's muscles to seize up.
