What can you hear right now?

I made one of these threads a few months ago and really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts so I thought I’d do another.

I’ll go first.

The faint hum of traffic on the nearby road.
Birds tweeting.
The fish tank pump.
One of my neighbours chatting to the delivery driver bringing her shopping.
Myself, eating peanut M&Ms 😳

The fridge humming and the sound of DH's car returning from the council tip.

The bathroom fitters (unfitters) battering lumps out of the tiling mainly.

The souped up exhaust of the local boy racer.

Usually it's quite quiet on a Monday.

Birds and the trickle of the water fountain in the pond.

My elderly dog snoring ,
the hum of the fridge,
noisy herring seagulls and
low hum of traffic .

A podcast on my iPad. The leaves rustling. A tube or train (could be either) going by in the distance. The washing machine churning upstairs.

It's generally been a very quiet day. I hear the fridge, the odd bird, occassionally my DH.

DH strimming the grass with a large petrol strimmer.

It’s grown too long to mow and it’s about 2 acres, so he’s doing it gradually over a few days. He’ll do about an hour then take a break.

No other near neighbours other than cattle in the nearby fields.

Children playing on their lunch break - such a lovely happy sound.
