What can you hear right now?

I made one of these threads a few months ago and really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts so I thought I’d do another.

I’ll go first.

The faint hum of traffic on the nearby road.
Birds tweeting.
The fish tank pump.
One of my neighbours chatting to the delivery driver bringing her shopping.
Myself, eating peanut M&Ms 😳

3 baby owls!! They soundile giant mice squeaking!

I’m on last dog walk so can hear the gentle flow of the river ( it’s low as it’s been hot) my footsteps on gravel. The occasional lamb bleating for its mother.

My husband snoring, bil weeing, dn babbling in her cot

Birds tweeting, insect buzzing, it’s lovely and peaceful this morning, I want it to stay like this!

Some very loud birds.

Horses. Horses. Horses.
Today is Horses day (probably got a different name) at the church in our town in Spain.
A figure of Mary is taken by horse to a different church and is escorted by people on foot and lots of Horses and wagons.
It confuses the life out of my dense fog.

Normally there is SOMETHING in the background but it has been almost entirely silent all morning.🙂

Big loud CNC machines working, something beeping (maybe forklift reversing), plastic crinkling and the radio.

Next door's builder drilling into rafters.

Seagulls - not surprising as I live by the sea !

I've been painting this morning so it's my usual early-70s playlist on loud in my studio. Just taking a break for a cuppa and a nosy through MN.

I’m in the office and the lady I work with has heart 80s on all day every day. I love 80s music but it’s the same playlist day in, day out. Infuriating.

Absolutel silence apart from occasional hammering as next door are having a new kitchen x

Nothing, I'm deaf.

I have some hearing, enough to be able to talk/hold conversations with the aid of lip-reading. But I don't hear any "background" sounds at all. Unless someone is talking or a TV/radio is on, then every room I'm in is silent.

The road, a neighbour’s music (quite pleasant background noise - the music not road).
