What can you hear right now?

I made one of these threads a few months ago and really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts so I thought I’d do another.

I’ll go first.

The faint hum of traffic on the nearby road.
Birds tweeting.
The fish tank pump.
One of my neighbours chatting to the delivery driver bringing her shopping.
Myself, eating peanut M&Ms 😳

Birds nothing else.

Birds. Wind moving through trees. Husband using the air fryer lol

Birds
a plane
a passing car
my teen quacking about what’s for dinner 🤣

The fan whirring.
The two pigeons nesting in the honeysuckle by my patio.
Silence.
Thank God as the teenager 4 doors away had been playing his music at deafening levels. His Mum must have come back from shopping as it suddenly went off.

Someone’s yapping fucking dog!! 😡

My slushie machine
The pond fountain
Next doors toddler giggling

Birds.
The wind rustling the leaves.
My cat's water fountain.

My dog eating her treat of a few crisps (low salt/fat)
Traffic a couple of roads away
Police/ambulance siren
My new parasol squeaking in the breeze as DH hasn't fitted it properly into the base!
Pigeons cooing on the roof

Wood pigeons and magpies.
Vague sound of planes overhead.
Very distant traffic.

My dog panting after playing ball in the garden. My teen playing on his DS after a busy afternoon- just tapping no game noise thankfully!

My neighbour’s incessant DIY and his loud radio 😭

Traffic
DP has radio 4 on in another room
Cat is washing and making a disgusting slurpy noise right next to me
Magpie shouting about something a few doors down

I can hear…
Football match coverage on the TV
DH and DS talking about the football
DD rummaging through a box of Lego
Humming of cars on the road outside

Only birds.

Tinnitus.

The air cooler next to me

The sea in the distance and my music on alexa

My fan.
The Cure playing on my Alexa.

Love these (except the noisy neighbours/dog yapping)!

I’m nosy, so I really enjoy getting little peeks into other peoples lives 😂

someone intermittently using a saw cutter to cut wood

Birds, some foliage rustling in the breeze, a bee, DS and DH playing with cars indoors, the occasional A319 passing overhead (we’re on a flight path).

Sat in my garden I can hear: bees buzzing in my “Hotlips” plants; splashing from the kids’ paddling pools next door and behind us; children from those gardens; the traffic on the motorway about one and a half miles away and low voices. Oh and the dog barking as my DD and friend are playing with them.
