What can you hear right now?

I made one of these threads a few months ago and really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts so I thought I’d do another.

I’ll go first.

The faint hum of traffic on the nearby road.
Birds tweeting.
The fish tank pump.
One of my neighbours chatting to the delivery driver bringing her shopping.
Myself, eating peanut M&Ms 😳

Very faint traffic hum, blackbirds, but mainly red kites.

Oh and my washing machine being very dramatic trying to spin my dressing gown

Birds
Cars in the distance
A tram every 12 minutes
A plane
Bees buzzing

Sheep bleating
An electric hum - maybe the hot tub.
A fly.
DH slapping the fly.
More bleating.
A plane going over.
Chirping birds.
The wind in the trees.
More bleating sheep.

We're at a shepherds hut in Wales celebrating our wedding anniversary. It's blissful.

Woodpigeon splashing in the bird bath
Little girl next door giggling

Hopscotch stories on you tube as I look after my granddaughter.
her crunching on a ginger nut buscuit
gentle hum of the fan behind me
purring of Lily the cat

A huge crowd roar from every direction, near and far - Arsenal have just scored

now I’ve made him put headphones in, the cat scratching and a plane overhead

Bird song. Mostly blackbirds, magpies, wood pigeons and some other bird that the Merlin app hasn’t identified yet.
Leaves rusting in the breeze.
Bees buzzing.
My mum watering the plants.
The distant sound of traffic on the main road.

Husband and dog out in the garden
My husband is telling our dog to 'drop' the tennis ball which is currently in the dog's mouth.
Dog drops the ball then barks at my husband to encourage him to throw it.
Husband says " I'm trying to eat my dinner" then he throws the ball for the dog to retrieve.

This scenario has been going on for over 20 minutes and is a scene played out every sodding sunny/warm day of the year.

DS talking on FaceTime in his room, DH bagging up DIY detritus for the tip, some buzzy insect, birds and slight hum of something electrical.

Eurasian Bullfinches and Wrens in my overgrown trees.

Magpies communicating on the flatroof opposite. (I'm sat on my upstairs balcony)

A Easyjet plane heading to land in Basel airport.

Some kids a few streets away splashing in a swimming pool.

A Maserati just throbbing and roaring around the street corner.

Doggo huffing on the paving slabs because it's too hot, all the while ignoring my plea to get in the shade. 😅

Well i was listening to some nostalgia music on you tube. But I switched that off five minutes or so ago and all I can hear now is the beautiful sound of the birds in my garden. And the bird singing trumps the human noises every time. They are just beautiful.

Motorbikes….not as many or as fast as they should be, live on the TT course and the races have been cancelled today. The roar drowns out everything.

Bizarrely nothing
I live right by a normally noisy park in north London. I guess everyone is watching the football. Its weird.

Cooker hood fan
Air fryer
And best of all Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds on the radio.

A pigeon is cooing . Other birds chirruping. Distant plane.

The fan whirring.
My dog drinking his water.
INXS (a random playlist of all of their music)
Oh and just now a big burp from the dining room from either DH or our other dog
