I also went to a SUTR meeting last night - from where I was walking back - and it was really good. Some of what was discussed:
Unity - and working together across groups - unity marches/events.
Protest against our new Reform councillors on acceptance day, or whatever it is.
Campaigning widely as possible, but also investigating locally into our councillors and holding them accountable for everything here.
If we are in a Union then we get a vote for any new Labour leader apparently and if not we can write to our local Labour MP.
Whilst Reform got seats, and obviously votes, currently only 25-27% so not a majority and overall people are still more to the left so we can hopefully break through by the next election.
There was other stuff but these are the highlights I recall - got anti Tom March Saturday, one counter on 13/6 in my city to both stop the fash in the city but also protect the hotel they plan to March to (ffs) and then one against the Reform councillors. Busy!
