I felt humiliated today

At work today my manager brought us some treats in for Easter, I had a biscuit and was eating it on the shop floor, she actually told me off I felt like a naughty school girl, she told me to hide it, I felt so humiliated, this isn’t the first time she’s done things like this, is she bullying me?

That sounds like a joke. Don’t worry though, I’m sure it won’t happen again

She's probably always having a go at you because you don't seem to have much common sense so need telling about every little thing. I work in a shop and people often bring in cakes, biscuits etc they are for break or to take home not to eat while working

People are telling you it's not allowed (it's certainly not professional) and you're refusing to have it! I can't imagine wandering around shopping and seeing a member of staff eating on the shop floor. I. My 40 odd uears of existence, I'm pretty sure I've never seen that - there's probsbly a reason why! Perhaps, because it's not permitted and unprofessional?

I wonder if your attitude is the issue? Because I have been bullied at work and it’s very different to being told not to do something that you obviously shouldn’t have done.

You know that nobody here is concerned about whether you resign? You have an issue with authority but it definitely sounds like a ‘you’ problem

She probably doesn’t like your attitude or the fact that you can’t understand why you shouldn’t be troughing biscuits on the shop floor

Do you chew gum on the shop floor too OP? I kinda feel sorry for your manager. You sound close to getting sacked if you can’t understand what you did was wrong.
