This popped up on my FB feed, not my local area. This would be at least double the price where I live and just wondered what it would be worth in your local area ?

Thank God I live in the area, might buy it :D !! although now lots of southerners seem to be clocking on and coming up and realising how great the area is around Teesside and North Yorks (finally) but then outpricing us on houses in Saltburn, Marske, Yarm and the North York villages. Slowly bumping all the prices up around the region (its grim up in the north east and all that...)

This one 2.3 million

Blankscreen · 25/03/2026 23:54

Original house £850k ISH.

EmeraldDreams73 · 25/03/2026 23:55

Probably 250-300k depending on area here (Devon, M5 corridor so accessible, but more farmland than coastal ie not London-on-Sea)

FancyCatSlave · 25/03/2026 23:55

£240-300k depending on location

UnderstatedChaos · 26/03/2026 00:18

Nw England I can find similar style houses for about £200/£210 but they all have very small yards and not the lovely long garden this property has, I couldn't find any with a garden like this, but I'd imagine that would add ££ to the price. That style of house tends to be located in not the nicest areas too, closer to the town centre where housing is quite dense. The further out you go the nicer the areas and bigger the houses/gardens, you could easily pay way over £300+ in one of those areas, and it'd be snapped up.

FFS, I'm looking at spending this just to get a fourth bedroom and off street parking. 😂🤦‍♀️

mondaytosunday · 26/03/2026 03:17

Around £950k. If the loft had been done or the kitchen extended to square off the back then up to £1.2m. SW London.
I’m surprised with the interior done up as it has been that they’ve kept that hideous front door and uPVC windows.

rwalker · 26/03/2026 03:51

NW in a 7 mile radius 140k shithole area 290k nice area

PerfectPairofBoots · 26/03/2026 06:22

Probably around 180,000 so similar, in the North in a fairly nice street

Wiaa · 26/03/2026 07:04

There's a very similar house on for offers over £500k, Solihull ( edge of Birmingham)

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/03/2026 07:09

Whineandcheese · 25/03/2026 21:51

In my part of Edinburgh, offers over £895,000 (so probably over a million).

That suprised me. More than south east and Kent

RampantIvy · 26/03/2026 07:15

Around the same price near me in South Yorkshire.

BlueandWhitePorcelain · 26/03/2026 07:20

@Fiddlesticks357 - that house, where I live in a dormitory town outside London for the City, would be several £millions.

ZookeeperSE · 26/03/2026 07:50

£500-600k in my bit of Kent.

Picklesandfrickles · 26/03/2026 08:17

80,000-120,000 depending on the village/small town. NE

Cakewon · 26/03/2026 08:29

Around £300,000 down south.

RubiesandRose · 26/03/2026 08:32

Nice part of Surrey, certain roads around £850k, less nice roads £700k! I think it’s time to move!

BauhausOfEliott · 26/03/2026 09:15

About £300K I reckon

C152 · 26/03/2026 09:51

At least £1million.

CeeJay81 · 26/03/2026 10:48

About 250 - 300k tiny town in rural Wales.

Dymaxion · 26/03/2026 18:58

I don't have much experience of Darlington, I once met some friends there for a meal, went to a lovely pizza restaurant. Seemed like a nice enough place, not too far from the coast, Northumberland and some lovely countryside.
Really interesting to see the range of prices across the country, so thank you everyone who replied.
