Help settle a discussion dh and I are pondering please?! I think we have more TVs than the average household, he thinks we have the average amount 😂
How many do you have (with either freeview or sky or with streaming functions) and how many people live in your house?
I’ll come back and update in a bit, I’m just going out for a quick swim!!

We have 3. One in lounge, one in family room and one in our room.

GreekHorse · 10/01/2026 08:26

3 and 3 people

NoArmaniNoPunani · 10/01/2026 08:26

One in living room and one in 10 year old's bedroom

Mikart · 10/01/2026 08:27

One. 2 of us.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 10/01/2026 08:27

Only ever had one (in the living room). Only two of us now but we have two sons who were brought up here.

XDownwiththissortofthingX · 10/01/2026 08:27

One, after years of not owning one. Thinking about getting rid because it's never on anyway.

pizzaHeart · 10/01/2026 08:28

3 people - 1 TV.
However I often watch tv on demand on my laptop.

OkimADHD · 10/01/2026 08:28

2 projectors, one in each bedroom.
One in kitchen ( my daughter is neurodiverse and can't eat without watching TV) and one in living room. Yes that's a lot for 2 people and I'm not a big tv watcher either. More for need tbh.

Callistamon62 · 10/01/2026 08:29

4 TVs & 2 people

MiddleAgedDread · 10/01/2026 08:29

1 in my living room, 1 person

landlordhell · 10/01/2026 08:31

2 one in lounge and one in our bedroom. Household of 4 reduced to 3.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 10/01/2026 08:31

One.

3 people. I wouldn't want more.

Lennonjingles · 10/01/2026 08:31

3 adults living here, 3 tv’s all with Sky, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Discovery Plus and Apple TV which is free. DH watches a lot of sport, so I have my own TV.

DisplayPurposesOnly · 10/01/2026 08:31

One person, one tele. If there were two of us, I'd want two teles so we could watch different things if we wanted to. I dont like watching TV on a laptop.

MrsALambert · 10/01/2026 08:31

4 tvs 4 people. One is in the spare room and doesn’t get used much we just don’t like throwing things away if we upgrade

Annie202 · 10/01/2026 08:31

One TV in the lounge and I live alone. When there were five of us, two adults and three children, we still had one TV. My children never had a TV in their bedrooms and still don’t, as adults in their own homes.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2026 08:31

Erm 4 and 2 of us 😂

Clutterbug2026 · 10/01/2026 08:32

2 TV, 2 adults and 2 kids but the kids some times watch TV on their tablets.

Same. DD21 lives at home and has never wanted or had a tv. She watches things on her laptop now.

hohahagogo · 10/01/2026 08:32

2, the one we use and dh’s old small one he brought with him from his fmh before I met him in dsd’s room for gaming. Also have a large computer monitor in DD’s room. Neither dc live with us now

CheddarCheeseAndCrispSandwich · 10/01/2026 08:32

One - in my living room.

I live alone now, but even when a) I was married, and b) when my children were living here, we only had the one. It’s really small too! 😬

YellowStockings · 10/01/2026 08:32

Zero TVs. Three people (two adults, 10yo)

ThatWasMyLastFatFreeFrush · 10/01/2026 08:33

One in the living room.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 10/01/2026 08:34

One in the sitting room, one in the kitchen, both well used.
A small one in dh’s lair aka study, used now and then, a small one in my bedroom - used maybe twice in the past few years.
Just the 2 of us at home now.

Purplestarballoon · 10/01/2026 08:34

1 in the living room - 4 people
