Is that you, Miss Havisham?

MrTwisterHasABlister · 27/12/2025 11:56

Strong dislike from me.

Id love a miss havisham tree but these don't look like for me

GentleSheep · 27/12/2025 11:57

I want to ask - why would you do that as in, why shroud your tree (sounds like a euphemism!)

DappledThings · 27/12/2025 11:57

It looks like what you have to do to some outdoor plants to protect them from frost. No idea why you would want that inside. Looks ridiculous.

Sunshineo · 27/12/2025 11:58

I don’t get it?

Sunshineo · 27/12/2025 11:58

It looks like they forgot to take off the net.

PhantomAfternoonTea · 27/12/2025 11:59

That looks ridiculous! Like you put your Christmas tree up then decided to paint the living room so chucked a plastic sheet over it!

Chatterboxy · 27/12/2025 11:59

Jeez, that’s bloody horrible.
looks like you haven’t taken the protective cover off it! 😅

user46256728992 · 27/12/2025 11:59

Is it a Halloween cobwebs/christmas combo dual purpose? Looks like it’s still in packaging and needs unwrapping, but each to their own.

OccasionalHope · 27/12/2025 12:00

Are they fire safe?

Somnambule · 27/12/2025 12:00

No, that looks shit sorry.

Chemenger · 27/12/2025 12:00

You could just get loads of spiders to do it for you:

23Shadows · 27/12/2025 12:00

I think they look stupid.

LarkAscendingRose · 27/12/2025 12:00

Looks like it's in a plastic bag

AndAllOurYesterdays · 27/12/2025 12:01

It looks like you've got the decorator in and are concerned about paint splatter!

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 27/12/2025 12:01

Why would you go to all the trouble of decorating a tree only to try to obscure most of it? Just stick a tree up and throw a sheet over it if you must, but why double the workload?

CautiousOptimist · 27/12/2025 12:01

Wow. Looks like you decorated your tree then chucked a sheet over it to protect it from kittens / small children! Horrible imo. But you do you!

Beachtastic · 27/12/2025 12:01

I could understand the need for it if you have a cat; otherwise... 😟

SweeetFannyAdams · 27/12/2025 12:02

That looks awful.

Like it's been invaded by spiders 🕷

Clefable · 27/12/2025 12:03

Sorry, OP, looks like you just left the wrapping on from the shop! What’s it meant to look like?

LeonMccogh · 27/12/2025 12:04

No, I didn’t, because it looks ridiculous. Hahahaha!!!

FlashingFairyLight · 27/12/2025 12:04

Naff.
And if not done extremely well, with the correct opacity of gauze and careful layering it will look messy, as well as naff.

Soz OP - but you do you.

DoBeGoodDontBeBad · 27/12/2025 12:04

Looks like you're about to have the decorators in
