Hello fellow bargain hunters!

Black Friday is just over a week away (its official date is the 28 November) and most retailers have already started slashing prices. Today Amazon has launched their Black Friday sale and the deals are coming in thick and fast.

We thought we’d set up this thread so we can share the best savings our expert deal hunters find - and we’d love for you to share your biggest discounts and best buys here too.

Whether you’re ticking off your Christmas list, shopping for home essentials or looking to treat yourself, we’ve got you covered.

MNHQ get early access to Black Friday deals from a whole heap of retailers, and we’ve been busy cross-referencing the best deals with products Mumsnetters recommend most highly - from air fryers to buggies, and robot vacuum cleaners to this year’s most-pined for Christmas toys - so we can bring you the best deals (and leave out the rest). We’ll be updating this thread all week with the latest savings as they happen.

We’re also comparing prices on camelcamelcamel where possible, to ensure the offers are authentic and as good as they seem.

We know not everyone loves Black Friday, but if you’re looking to pick up a bargain during the biggest sale event of the year, you’re in the right place.
If there’s something specific you’re shopping for, post your requests here and our dedicated team of bargain-hunters will be on the case.

💸 Huge saving on household favourites

💸 Top deals on ways to fight the cold

💸 Beauty deals live now

💸 Christmas gift inspiration

Happy shopping,

MNHQ 💐

Note: Mumsnet has some affiliate links, so purchases through our posts may earn us a small share (more details here). Recommended deals might get linked for user convenience. Prices are accurate when posted.

Looking for a quality (but not massively expensive) electric guitar for an intermediate player...

Edited

Always happy to help finding guitars😀 I play slimline Fender Tele which I bought secondhand a few years ago. Have you looked at secondhand sites like reverb.com? There's a lovely looking Mexican Fender Strat on sale with £521. Or if your budget doesn't stretch to that, their sister brand Squier are decent guitars at a lower price. This Squier affinity series Tele is £236

If anyone has any recommendations for Dyson air wrap alternatives for under £100, I would be very grateful. It’s my birthday in two weeks and I’m looking for an air wrap alternative as I can’t afford £600!

Any idea where to get the best iPad deals? I’ve already googled but not finding many. Doesn’t have to be the latest one, WiFi only is fine, it’s for a teenager. Thanks.

iPads come in about 47 slightly-different-but-somehow-the-same versions these days, so choosing one can feel like a full-time job. Amazon and John Lewis seem to be neck-and-neck on offers right now, so here’s a quick roundup of the best Wi-Fi–only deals.

Apple iPad (11th Gen) Wi‑Fi: Entry-everyday option.
Amazon £299 (9% off)
John Lewis also £299 (inc free delivery and £30 off M365)
Apple iPad Air 11‑inch (M3) Wi‑Fi: A step up.
Amazon £499 (17% off) Apple iPad Air 11-inch (128GB) unless I’m missing something, it looks like the same model is £560 at John Lewis, but they might price match it for you
Apple iPad Air 13‑inch (M3) Wi‑Fi: Larger screen version of the Air.
Amazon £699 (13% off RRP £799)
John Lewis also £699 ((inc free delivery and £30 off M365)
You could also look at refurbished iPads on sites like Back Market or even on the Apple shop

Tagging @Beautifulsunflowers here too
Hope that helps!

Any good laptop deals? Ideally a MacBook but a high spec alternative brand would also work! For a gaming older teen.

I'm trying to get the disney stitch ultimate interactive toy for my daughter but the cheapest I can find it is £69.99 which is beyond my budget. If anyone can find it any cheaper I would be forever in your debt! I got the shark glossi for £125.99, it's already discounted to £139.99 for black Friday but I didn't want to pay that much so I created an account and left it in my basket and within 24 hours they had emailed me an additional 10% off! https://sharkclean.co.uk/product/shark-glossi-2-in-1-hot-tool-and-air-glosser-raspberry-zidHT302UKBP
Royal Doulton also send you a discount code if you leave something in your basket but it takes them nearly a week so you have to be patient!

Hi @Octaviathethird I can't see it for any cheaper than £69.99 either, sorry! Maybe it's worth putting a price drop alert on it in case it comes down in price nearer to Christmas?

Or, one slightly sneaky way to get a discount, set up a baby wishlist on Amazon today. In 14 days you'll be eligible for a 15% discount.

I'll keep an eye out though, and let you know if I see it cheaper anywhere else!

I’m after a Bosch food processor - all places seem to be £189 at the moment!
Bosch MultiTalent 8 MC812S734G 1200 W Food Processor

I can't see it on sale anywhere either @Soontobe60 if your heart is set on that particular model, by set up a price alert on camelcamelcamel?

A couple of alternatives to consider:

Ninja Detect Power Blender & Processor Pro £170 on the Ninja website (RRP is £230)
Kenwood MultiPro OneTouch £127 on Amazon (RRP is £156 and the lowest price it's been on Amazon)
Kenwood FDP65.860WH food processor £71 (RRP £150 also lowest price it's been on Amazon)

We’d love a deal on any Meaco Arete Two

This is probably pathetic to admit - even on the internet - but I am a huge Meaco dehumidifier fan 😃I've lived in victorian terraces for the last 10 years and I can't tell you how much my Meaco dehumidifiers (yes we two now!) have improved our house.

Appliance Direct have a few Meaco deals live at the moment and it looks like you can get an extra £5 off Meaco dehumidifiers over £100 when you use the code DEHUM5M

Meaco Arete Two 12L £180 (save £100)
Meaco Arete One 12L £160 (save £100)

Hi @Shefliesonherownwings

Here are some Dyson airwrap dupes to consider:

BaByliss Big Hair Rotating Hair Dryer Brush £30 on Amazon (RRP £50) - this will always remind me of MN co-founder Carrie who kept one of these in her top draw at the office 😁)
Revlon One-Step £50 on Amazon (RRP £80)
