Hello fellow bargain hunters!

Black Friday is just over a week away (its official date is the 28 November) and most retailers have already started slashing prices. Today Amazon has launched their Black Friday sale and the deals are coming in thick and fast.

We thought we’d set up this thread so we can share the best savings our expert deal hunters find - and we’d love for you to share your biggest discounts and best buys here too.

Whether you’re ticking off your Christmas list, shopping for home essentials or looking to treat yourself, we’ve got you covered.

MNHQ get early access to Black Friday deals from a whole heap of retailers, and we’ve been busy cross-referencing the best deals with products Mumsnetters recommend most highly - from air fryers to buggies, and robot vacuum cleaners to this year’s most-pined for Christmas toys - so we can bring you the best deals (and leave out the rest). We’ll be updating this thread all week with the latest savings as they happen.

We’re also comparing prices on camelcamelcamel where possible, to ensure the offers are authentic and as good as they seem.

We know not everyone loves Black Friday, but if you’re looking to pick up a bargain during the biggest sale event of the year, you’re in the right place.
If there’s something specific you’re shopping for, post your requests here and our dedicated team of bargain-hunters will be on the case.

💸 Huge saving on household favourites

💸 Top deals on ways to fight the cold

💸 Beauty deals live now

💸 Christmas gift inspiration

Happy shopping,

MNHQ 💐

Note: Mumsnet has some affiliate links, so purchases through our posts may earn us a small share (more details here). Recommended deals might get linked for user convenience. Prices are accurate when posted.

Any offers for UGG boots ?

Hi @Theredjellybean I'm not seeing anything particularly exciting on sale for UGG at the moment even though Schuh and JD Sports are promoting Black Friday discounts. Maybe they'll cut prices next week?

It looks like UGG hasn't started their sale yet, but you can sign up for early access to the official UGG sale on their website.

Anyone seen any offers for portable air conditioning units. Wondering if any bargains as it’s cold and not much need for them at the moment

LasVegass · 24/11/2025 07:01

Hi @n96 If you need access to Microsoft Word/Excel etc on your iPad you'll need to buy the Microsoft365 package separately.

John Lewis currently has £30 off Microsoft 365 Personal when you buy an iPad. Just add both to your basket and enter the promo code SAVE30M36501 at checkout. I’ve listed the steps to claim the discount below.

How to claim:
Step 1: Add this product to your basket
Step 2: Add M365 Personal to your basket
Step 3:Click on the ‘Add promotional code’ link at the payment stage of checkout and enter SAVE30M36501 to claim your discount

Hope that helps!

Thank you

LasVegass · 24/11/2025 21:08

Thanks for the iPad recommendation, I’ve just bought one too.

I'm keen to get hold of a walking pad to work off my WFH bobble bum - something that is easily to store and which is electronic and not manual. Have you come across anything on your bargain travels please?

Kpo58 · 24/11/2025 23:33

I'm looking for Stikbot for my DS. I haven't seen anything on offer yet though.

TheDogsMother · 24/11/2025 23:42

I’m looking for a 50 inch tv. Possibly Samsung but open minded. Thank you for your bargain hunting.

It’s the one from John Lewis. I bought one without the software, then I saw here about the software, so I bought that one and now I have to return one of them. It turns out DD has the software from uni so she won’t need the MS365 and I’m in two minds which to return tonight when I collect the second order.

The Pro-Ject Primary E looks like excellent value, but I can't find any Black Friday deals. Best price is on Amazon, where it's £229. Might be worth holding your nerve until Friday in case it gets discounted.

John Lewis have some Black Friday deals on turntables, here's a link to their selection.

Elsewhere, I've found these big discounts on turntables:

£110 off House of Marley EM-JT002-BK Belt Drive Stir It Up Turntable, was £250, now £140

£70 off SONY PS-LX310BT Belt Drive Bluetooth Turntable, was £249, now £179

£90 off Roberts Radio Stylus Luxe, was £350, now £260

Hi @francy99 that's a smart move but unfortunately there aren't many deals about. I think portable air conditioners were so popular this summer many brands had stock issues!

Here's the best deal I've seen:

Bosch Cool 4000 Portable AC - 3-in-1: Air Conditioner, Dehumidifier, Fan, was £599, now £479 - this one has 20% off, plus it doubles as a dehumidifier so you can put it to good use over the winter

I need to get a wireless Xbox controller, if anyone has spotted one. Usually around £55 so anything less than that is good!
