Is 14 pairs of jeans enough?

I’m moving house and culling my entire wardrobe. I’ve sold so much on Vinted, and have a load more to sell.

I probably used to have 40 pairs of jeans and I’ve now got this down to 14. Is that enough?

What does having 14, let alone 40 pairs of jeans make you think of yourself?Would you not judge yourself as either having a hoarding disorder, or no moral compass whatsoever?
Good I suppose if you are trying to recalibrate.

I have 7 pairs. 2 skinny - 1 black/1 blue, 2 black wide leg, 1 x light blue wide leg, 1 x mum fit and 1 x wide leg dungaree.

I wear jeans almost everyday, and could happily have more variations if my storage were more plentiful. I can't quite grasp how you'd accumulate 40 pairs, but 14 is fair enough I think.

I have 6 pairs and trying to build on that.
There's so many styles, colours and various lengths of jeans I can see how you'd easily have 14 and wear them all.

I probably have 1 long and 1 flat shoe wide leg, balloon leg and 2 x straight black. Some are black black and some are a more faded black The same plus some slouchy blue and 3 white.

I have 2. I could probably do with 1 more but I don’t think I’d ever get round to wearing 14 pairs.

Probably not enough, presuming you work in wholesale import / export of leg-wear?

Um, I've got 5 and i think that's too many!

My hub is a clothes horder. When we moved in together I suggested he reduced his wardrobe to 30 shirts. He replied how about 30 per season. I secretly thin them out every now and then!

14 too many for me. I haven't worn jeans since the 1970s, and didn't really like them then either.

A new pair for every day for a fortnight? You do know you can only wear one pair at a time, right? 40 pairs is madness. Over consumption is not cool.

Enough for what? You and all your friends? A whole barn dance? A scarecrow festival? A shop?

How do you sell so much on Vinted? I find second hand women’s items of clothes just don’t sell! Baby and dog things or anything new with tags, different story.

I wear jeans 90% of my dressed life...and that still only comes to 5 pairs! And I feel disappointed if they don't last at least 5 years each!

I have a black straight leg, dark blue straight leg, boot cut dark blue, skinny dark (still like these!) boyfriend and a lighter blue with a frayed hem . And an old skinny pair that I mainly wear gardening. So seven pairs.. which I think is quite a lot. I have worn them all in the past few months

I’ve got three pairs.

I've got quite a few maybes 8 to 10 and I wear a lot of them. Different styles mom, barrell, flare, straight, skinny etc different colours. I also have different sizes as my weight fluctuates throughout the month

I don’t even know how many pairs I have so I’m going to write it down. I wear them all.

So 13. I do want a pair of black bootcut though.

If you wear jeans every day, I actually think 14 is probably still enough.

If I count jeans and trousers, (I don't wear dresses or skirts), then I haven't got 14 items but that's largely due to lack of space.

Do you have a compulsive shopping problem? Otherwise I'm not sure why you'd have 14 pairs of jeans (never mimd 40) or why you would own so many clothes you've never worn. It sounds like an illness tbh.

Think that’s the lot. So 7 pairs.
