Is 14 pairs of jeans enough?

I’m moving house and culling my entire wardrobe. I’ve sold so much on Vinted, and have a load more to sell.

I probably used to have 40 pairs of jeans and I’ve now got this down to 14. Is that enough?

I have two pairs. Why would you need 14?

I pretty much live in jeans and I have 6 pairs, which is plenty.

How could 14 not be enough? Enough for what exactly?

I've never had more than 2-3 pairs so I think 14 is a bit overwhelming choice wise. Will you wear them all regularly? If not maybe sell a few more and use the money for othe things you will use more often. If you will use and enjoy all 14 then keep them! I would say 14 is definitely plenty.

I have 20+ pairs easily but I live on a farm so I am always filthy when working so they get work and tbh even when I’m not working I live in them as well.

I have about 6 pairs that fit. I think that's enough but maybe yours are different styles? Mine are all skinny indigo - colour ones! I actually have two comfy baggy pairs for summer too.

😂 I’m not listing 14 pairs, but each are different colours, black, grey, different shades of blue. Some are straight, ripped, mom, ankle grazers to wear with specific boots.

Ridiculous amount.

I have 5, one green pair, one black and 3 different colour denim.

I have 3 pairs of full length,1 pair of wide and 3 pairs of cropped and I think that's quite enough!

I think I've got 5 - 2 booutcut, 2 skinny and 1 that DD was throwing out. I don't wear anything else. So 14 seems more than adequate.

I have two that fit well, good brands. Two too small. One out-of-fashion skinny pair and a worn-out pair kept for messy work. So six..

Do you wear them everyday? How many other pairs of trousers do you own?

I think I have 2 pairs of jeans but neither fit - one too big and one too small 😂 I’ve never really got on with jeans.

I have 5 pairs which I think is too many. But I like them all so will keep them. Two are every so slightly too small but I'm nudging down my waist size and keeping them.

2 pairs here too. I tried going down to 1 but it wasn't practical

Other trousers … I’m not sure as again I’ve sold a lot but maybe 8 now. I do like to mix it up and wear skirts too though.

Then it seems more reasonable. But get rid of any you don't like or wear. Unless they're something you ear in summer. Put a note in the calendar (1/3/26) to get rid of any you didn't wear/love wearing.

Probably more but this is like a new start kind of thing and I’d rather just have less stuff in general. Easier to keep a more organised house and I actually think it’s good mental health wise too.

I like to have 3 pairs that fit me and I wear jeans every day. I currently have 2 pairs that fit me and 4 that don’t. My weight fluctuates quite a lot so worth keeping them.
